"Even gamblers can declare bankruptcy, but kids who enter into student loans will never, ever be able to get out of this debt."

Education is the most important thing!! America Has A Secret Weapon and it's going bye bye and if America keeps it up we will all be going down the toilet!

Getting an Education should NOT be this hell!!

Anything to discourage education among Americans.

Think on that.

It is frightening to impose such crushing debts on students wishing to contribute to society by getting a higher education and finding interesting careers in a field that they enjoy.

There are some technical glitches going on this evening on Wednesday, I can post my comment in the regular articles but have problems elsewhere, especially in groups.

One can still submit and post news stories to C2NN, but it is hard to comment on news stories, as one can't see the comment that one has just made. I just got a green star (and butterfly credits) for comments made even though you can't see anything (some are getting 'server error' just go ahead and comment as always). The comment is taking okay but I can only see them via the green stars that I am getting in my at home Inbox. Technical glitches...but you can still comment in news if that is what one also likes to do.

Noted w/thanks, Cal. When the Banksters are getting loans at nearly 0%, why charge college students any more than that?! Elizabeth Warren made exactly this case recently in the Senate....but, of course, if it doesn't financially benefit enough members of Congress, they'll never vote in favor of it. The banksters have them by the short hairs. Nothing like life in a fascist Empire......

It's sad when higher education getsto the point that only the rich can afford them.

This isn't surprising. What would you expect from a government run by Republicans, Tea Partiers, and big corporations? They want to dumb us down, not make education affordable.

Let's fund the community colleges so that students don't have to pay tuition and fees.

We have to take a look at this and come up with better solutions.
