As the State Department drags out the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline, it is more likely President Barack Obama's final decision on the project to help link Canada's oil sands to U.S. refineries will slip into 2014, experts said.

They should do something about it now instead of waiting until next year. Thanks for sharing, Cal.

If it's delayed, it's not functioning and I'm okay with that - meanwhile, we need to spread the facts about fracking , the tar sands spills, the greedy oil companies, and the nightmare these pipelines are.

Did anyone read Neil Young's comments after visiting Fort McMurry which is a town about 75 miles from the Tar Sands. If you haven't please do so.

Everything gets pushed to the back burner. Thanks Cal.

Noted. Even though the article says the chances of KXL being approved are lower (80% down to 70%) because they're delaying it, my understanding is that certain legs of it are still being constructed....although not connected. I don't know if this is true. I'm just afraid that so much will be prepared, that it will pass because there's not going to be much left to finish. So, I think we need to keep this on the "front burner".....with continued protests, petitions and letters.

Ugh. Why do these people drag their feet on everything? I've seen two year olds on the way to a dentist visit move more quickly. :P
