WTF did they think was going to happen. Pitchfork and torches people, it's time everyone put a stop to the idiots that are running our planet.

Not at all surprising, in fact I would've thought this was self-evident and obvious. Income inequality has existed pretty much forever. Where ever there is a hierarchical society in terms of private property or resource ownership there will be income inequality and potential for social unrest. Increasing social capital, e.g. through public education, can help reduce such divisions. Other ways, trialled in South American countries, e.g. Brazil, is where workers for companies are issued shares in the company, hence not only do they receive their wage incomes but also profit dividends. Whether you view such schemes as perpetuating capitalism or as implementing or broadening public ownership of resources depends, to some extent, on your perspective.

I wish a lot of people just for 24 hours felt what it's like to be hopeless.

When entering into 21st century, WB and IMF fear for what they call 'poverty war'. They mean war between the poor and the rich. I have been waiting for some 13 years but it hasn't occurred yet. Anybody knows why not?
Thanks Cal

Not a big surprise. At the very least, generosity must be taught so each person has concern for his/her fellow humans, so if one has wealth, they are not miserly. Noted and thanks.

How about that ! Education ! Safety nets ! Increased standard of living for workers !....sounds familiar. Anyone remember The French Revolution ??? It is said History repeats itself.
