Global warming stopped being political poison, but the fracking and coal export boom continued.

I believe that is where the phrase-talking out both sides of the mouth-comes from.

Obama's lies and contradictions have long ago soured his administration. Speaking only of his enviromental record, there is no other President in history that has such a terrible profile. Yet, he travels to Hawaii to enjoy its beauty....

What did you expect? He takes his orders from his corporate masters just the way the other side does.

It's a two-party sham and it's a shame. When two corporate sponsored parties enshrine the worst aspects of toxic free market capitalism, it is no surprise that the environment continues to decline. If people want change, then they are going to have to vote for it. The Green Party is the only party that has offered a plan to put millions of Americans to work upgrading the US energy infrastructure and transitioning this nation away from #dirtyenergy like coal, oil, and natural gas. If people are against fracking and the policies that let fracking happen, then they need to start choosing a party with a plan to end such practices. That plan is the #GreenNewDeal. That party is the #GreenParty.

Thanks Cal for the link to the excellent article by Ms. Goldenberg. I have been very disappointed in President Obama's actions regarding dealing with climate change. Read and noted.

Noted. Thanks, Cal. Obama pushes fracking so he can say that we are no longer dependent on foreign oil....supposed to be a feather in his cap. But, we all know the truth here. Yesterday, I saw the price of a barrel of oil is now back up to $100. Just disgusting! Gee, I thought we fought the war in Iraq to get hold of that oil....the war was going to "pay for itself." hmmmm....Now I read that China is the one benefiting off that Iraq oil---NOT the U.S. Oh, what a tangled & very disgusting web!
