So now they are in a house, but still don't have insurance, or will be covered under the Affordable Care Act, so I not certain how the math work, but it is a nice thing to do. I'm hoping that it is enough so that some will turn the corner.

On the face of it it seems to be a good idea but it will not work for some people.I am also sceptacle about the cost.

Best wishes to all the homeless in the world. Addictions and mental illness is nothing to laugh at. Thank you to everyone who is making a difference and being there for them. I really hope this program works. Everyone deserves to have their basic needs met.

Yes, indeed. Spend $ for housing for homeless. Take the $ from the bloated budget of the incompetent, rapist military. Do they really need the F-35?

Noted. Thanks, Cal. What an excellent program! I've read they're implementing this program up in Phoenix, and intend to take all homeless off the streets and give them shelter, food and help with getting medical care & jobs. Other cities are considering this program, and I'm glad to see it happen.

This sounds good to me. If we are paying to keep them on the streets and we can get apartments that will take them, why not pay to get them off the street. If they can't abide by the rules, that is a problem they have and will have to suffer for it. For the rest of them, they didn't want to be there in the first place but were unable to do anything themselves without the connections. Now they can say they have a home, hopefully with pride, and that should help them get work and get their self-esteem back.

Hopefully this will be one of the solutions to homelessness
