The northern part of the state is poor, but residents rank high on measures of health. The coordination among businesses and health workers is seen as a model.

We would save Billions of Dollars a year on healthcare if our entire medical establishment moved from symptom-solution, hospital-based treatment to home healthcare, treatment and hospice. I had to fight to go home and receive even a little help from nurses, but Medicaid (at the time) would have gladly paid up to thousands per week to keep me in a nursing home. Ridiculous!
