Legislation put forward by Brazil's re-elected President Dilma Rousseff would open up to 10% of protected areas to mining

SUPPORT INDIGENOUS PEOPLES in their Rights to THEIR OWN TRADITIONAL LANDS -
EVERYWHERE!!!!!
They know a LOT BETTER THAN WE DO, how to take care of the lands, AND THE ENTIRE PLANET.....

There are just a FEW MEGA-WEALTHY BILLIONAIRES who are in this merely for THE QUICKEST PROFIT$$$$$ POSSIBLE.
EVERYTHING REMAINING IN THE LAND, OUGHT TO *STAY* IN THE LAND.
NO MORE MINING, ANYwhere!!!!! No fracking, no fossil fuels, no oil, no coal, no uranium....
LEAVE IT IN THE GROUND!
Only RENEWABLE Energy....
And, a SMALLER POPULATION to need less energy.....

POWER TO THE PEOPLE! In every sense of the word....
Billionaires are DELIBERATELY DESTROYING THE PLANET, thinking that in their climate-controlled Gated Communities with guards and watchtowers, the Elite will survive SOMEHOW....
and to Hell with everybody else!

Important information to keep an eye on...even if there's not a petition to sign yet.
"The new government is at a crossroads: either maintain the integrity and long-term future of its globally significant ecosystems - or favour industrial interests by allowing 10% of even strictly protected areas to be mined."
