We don't know nearly enough about the fracking that's already going on in the U.S. -- that's the point of two lawsuits filed this past week by environmental advocates against the federal government.

Noted. Thanks, Cal. In my understanding, the only way they're ever going to learn all those hazardous chemicals is by getting rid of the Halliburton Loophole. I don't see another way around this, but am hopeful.

I had read an article a few months ago where the EPA had cut a deal with the frackers that loosened some restrictions on the amounts on the fracking waste they were allowed to dump in return for the list of chemicals in the fluids used. This happened around the time 3 million gallons of waste was pumped into an aquifer in California. It appears that the EPA has been corrupted as the regulations have been being ignored without consequences.

If you introduce Fracking to different areas on the planet, you run the risk of severely tampering with the Earth's structure.
