Reality-- wild condors cannot survive so long as the dead amimals they eat are riddled with lead from spent ammunition. With lead poisoning to blame for 60% of condor deaths, it's time to ban lead ammunition across their entire range - and beyond.

Noted. Thanks, Cal. The law doesn't go into effect in CA until 2019. Other states also need to implement this law.

It's a shame that it will take so long to be fully implemented. The NRA is still trying to scuttle this law with statements the ammo prices will triple.

"Until all natural food sources are free from lead-based ammunition, lead poisoning will threaten recovery of naturally sustaining populations of condors in the wild."

Firstly, hunting is murder and no one needs to kill for food, or worse for ghoulish tropies, Seconly, while there are perfectly good replacements for lead, but those idiots at the NRA seemto think lead is best and so lobby to keep it around. If they think it is so great, why don't they just sit down to a nice bowlfull?

Why stop at lead bullets .why not all bullets.Stop the gun toting looneys from killing for the pleasure of killing.A gun to most of them is a substitute for a small penis .I suggest they put away their guns and buy a penis enlargement device. They won't want to kill then for pleasure they will find something far more pleasurable.
