I like him. But he wouldn't be able to win. This is the first time I"ve ever heard about him possibly running though. Still I suppose it would be good for the primary process.

Noted. I saw and shared this earlier today. I wasn't sure he was entirely serious, but he had a platform I could definitely support.

I shared the article from The Nation where he announced. It's a much better article as far as setting out his platform.

He'd be even worse than the numbskull currently doing the job or pretending to.

As Donald Trump is to the far right, Michael Moore is to the far left. Neither is good presidential material.

Laugh out loud.....Michael Moore?

Given the comedy options that the Republicans regularly drag out with their consistently mad, bad and creatures of darkness candidates it should at least be interesting to see what Michael Moore has to say. The last lot they brought out was a pretty sorry lot, in normal societies they wouldn't allow them to go out without a bell to warn people.

How about Rosy O'Donnell for his Vice President? Perfect!

I recommend reading his entire essay. I enjoyed many of his ideas---and was pleasantly surprised to hear his stance on cursive writing. I have a bone to pick with our education system about not teaching cursive writing to our students. I'm teaching my son here at home. Minor issue? It all adds up in my opinion. Sending the kids of congress and the fortune 500 CEO's to war first ranked up at the top for me. Of course, I don't want any of our kids to go to war, but I think there would be a huge shift in the dynamics of our foreign polices if "their' children were risking their lives. Mike should add that we spend as much on veterans' medical services and quality of life as we do building more planes, tanks, etc that often sit in surplus.

The only problem is he could siphon votes away from the Democratic nominee. Remember the train wreck in Florida in 2000? If Ralph Nader hadn't run, I'm quite sure that Gore would have won - and there would never have been that debacle with all the danged chads.

I'd vote for him if he got the nomination, which I strongly doubt, but he's a far more viable candidate than Trump or Cruz, or any of the rightwingnuts.

Michael Moore has a lot to say, but, even for people who agree with him, he is a controversial celebrity. It would be better for Progressives to get Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren to be a mouthpiece for progressive issues.

I think he has done a good job with his films and should remain doing so. However, if he pushes the conversation in the primary for Hillary to understand, we progressives are out there, and she hasn't shown us she is one. I do agree with Brian M.

Thanks, Donald, but as you know...I know....you are having fun. However, Hillary is in the hurt locker....she did it to herself. I've often wondered, since Bill and Hillary have basically not been husband and wife for decades, rivals in a way, if Hillary is looking to Bill for advice and he is subliminally undermining her campaign through bad advice and/or with subtle lack of enthusiasm. I honestly do not think Bill wants to be First Husband and he probably doesn't want her to be more successful president than he was. I'm saying....this is very complicated on many levels. Bottom line...the democrats are going to have a struggle with Hillary.

Elizabeth Warren's "time" is at least a decade away IMO. Even she knows that.

So, who do you have who will run for POTUS and run? It looks grim. Obama did this to your party IMO. The tide has turned and the American people did that like they always do....they correct what is wrong with their votes in the mid term elections. It started in 2010 when Obama had a democrat congress and they voted in a republican House. Then....in 2014, they sent an even stronger message to the White House and voted for a deep republican congress. I never underestimate the power of the American people to correct what they feel is absolutely wrong for their country. It is time for a republican president. When that happens we will see the "salad days" again and we will get Americans off massive food stamps and put them to work. That is what Americans want....they want to take care of themselves and their families first....and they aren't interested in funding illegals, millions of illegals in fact, to provide them with housing, food, education and healthcare when they have broken our immigration laws. Change is definitely in the air.

I view it differently, I believe the House will go to the "D"'s, the WH will stay "D".. The Senate "R"'s will lose but perhaps stay "R".

Everyone has their calling.....and M M needs to keep making these wonderful telling documentaries that will provide a truth of legacy for history.

Remember previous elections ----OBAMA, HILLARY and BIDEN ran---and Obama won but Joe became VP---Hillary Sec of State THAT's THE DNC working together.

We need Bernie Sanders to take Harry Reid's job------Liz Warren as Attorney General to go after Wall Street and the Banksters.

last year the House leadership, having been led astray one too many times by the Heritage Foundation and its Heritage Action lobbyists, barred those lobbyists from attending the Republican Study Committee’s weekly meetings.

At a press conference in the aftermath of last fall’s pointless government shutdown, a dazed and incredulous Speaker Boehner squinted into the cameras and proclaimed that groups like Heritage had “lost all credibility.” You’ll recall, he noted, that “the day before the government reopened, one of those groups stood up and said, ‘We never really thought it would work,’ ” Boehner said, his eyes bugging theatrically. He waited a beat or two for dramatic emphasis before his voice crackled with dismay: “Are you kidding me?”

The Big Lobotomy
How Republicans Made Congress Stupid
They cut the “professional staff” (the lawyers, economists, and investigators who work for committees rather than individual members) by a third. They reduced the “legislative support staff” (the auditors, analysts, and subject-matter experts at the Government Accountability Office [GAO], the Congressional Research Service [CRS], and so on) by a third, too, and killed off the Office of Technology Assessment (OTA) entirely.

Sen Schumer of NY is "running" for Harry Reids position as leader of the Dem Senators. Bernie For POTUS ?? No, I agree w/ Diane O, Bernie will never win In Nov'16 IF he got the nomination. Then we'll have a 3rd Bush, whom I believe is the "R"'s best chance to win against a possible Hillary campaign. OMG< Me agreeing w/ Diane??, THE WORLD IS COMING TO THE END !!! LOL!!!
My vote is for Hillary !!!!!

It may just be the best thing yet he knows and tells it like it needs to be!
He isn't afraid of them says what he wants and need to say!
Where any woman would be so intimidated form the GOP they treat all women badly, even their own??
Wive's and daughter's and mother's of their own.
He is a honest person unlike so many other's.
He would not think of taking food away form children or social security, medicaire from the senior's like other's do.
I for one would like to see this Happen!
Heads would roll!! Best thing around here it looks like!
Thank you

Diane O. could easily be Donald Trump's campaign manager. They certainly embrace the same values. If that doesn't work out, perhaps he could use a head cheerleader. It might seem rather tasteless to drum up enthusiasm to keep innocent people from entering our country --especially when they are trying desperately to avoid being slaughtered by the terrorist groups inspired by George Dubya's ill-advised wars. But I guess we shouldn't care about their plight. Immigrants cost money --and what's more important than that?

Will anyone ever forget seeing the tiny bodies that washed ashore when boats overloaded with people desperately trying to escape death in Syria capsized off the coast of Greece? How can anyone even think about the cost of taking in immigrants after seeing that?

I was happy to read in this morning's paper that Laura Bush is supporting Hillary Clinton. Some people do learn from mistakes --even those made by their own husband.
