"What Texas will accomplish, if it is successful, is to further restrict healthcare options for the poorest women, particularly immigrants and women of color."

Most of the protesters in the picture are deluded women, it's shameful & disgusting!!!

And so the war on women continues, and in Texas that means the war targets poor, black and Hispanic women in particular. All because a minority wants to prohibit abortions based on their religious views, not caring that abortions are only a small percentage of the services rendered by Planned Parenthood. And to reach their self-centered goal these Republicans are not above fraud and deception. Thank goodness there are judges who do not let them be fooled by bogus evidence of "misconduct" and rule against it, but these judges may be harder to find for Planned Parenthood in Texas.

I really wonder how the term planned parenthood has become become such a rallying cry for such a hypocritical attack against women's welfare. I gather from the current Republican Presidential candidates that they just want to kick women's rights as hard as they can particularly if they are poor and a bit too dark too. By pandering to the Religious right and an obviously fraudulent series of sting videos they are merely shown how despicable they are.

Noted. Thanks, Cal.
Article says not sure if Planned Parenthood will fight this; I don't see how they can't.....they must. They won here in AZ, thankfully. Yes, this is an attack on poor women. It is stupid, cruel and cold-blooded.

I wonder if they are planning how to support the babies that will be born to the women who could not afford birth control without Planned Parenthood. Oh, wait, it won't matter, they will find a way to exclude those of color or are immigrants. Another link in the War on Women that the GOP keeps waging.

Thanks Cal--noted with anger, disgust, disdain. The US government is destroying the country from the inside. With a government like that, who needs enemies?

PP should definitely take this to court. Otherwise the misogynistic white guys win. If they have won elsewhere, why not Texas?

Thanks Cal. I can't imagine ever living in TX if you are a woman. I know I'm sure there are lovely people and places in TX but I get really mad at what they choose to do in that state. What is wrong with the elected officials?
