As I've said before, in a decade or so, water will have become the new oil.

Ain't your water to take, Bros.
For instance the water here half shunted to the wino-ries to the south, and half of the Shasta, Trinity water and all the Sierra water shunted to the fould cities and poisonous agribiz to the south.

The Colorado watershed, which should be delivering water to the Gulf of California (Baja California is California just as rightly as Alta California.), is partly shunted through tunnel to the evil cities of the Rocky Mt Front range, on the side that the Mississippi/Missouri should be flowing.
The Gila comes out of Eaastern AZ high country and is taken by ugly republican cities, when it should flow into t e Colorado system.
The Columbia/Snake should be open to restore the mighty salmon nation, but instead is locked up by dams, which have extinguished most of the salmon in that system and thus also the birds, bears, other animals, and even the trees - you can find scientific articles on the differences between salmon poor forests and the places where the salmon ecosystems are still in place.
teh water belongs to the salmon, the birds, the tiny vaquita and its prey. The water belongs to the trees, the streamside plants, the frogs and salamanders.
Time for humans to BACK OFF.

Never mind Blood & Oil - soon it will be Blood & Water. You can live without oil, but not without water.

I find Michael M's above comment disturbingly true--and all the world over this is the new reality. Water is the new oil---as top valued resource. The 1% that rules the planet knows it---and they want something from us, so that they stand a better chance of survival---our absence. So, gird your loins! Thanks Cal, for the frightening truth. Much noted with trepidation.
