I was shocked when I saw the headline last evening. I actually yelled oh NO! out loud. It feels like the end of something that I thought would go on forever.

Glen Frey lifted up millions around the world bringing strangers together as friends through his music.
These are sad times we are living in and more than anything, I feel we need to come together as a Global community!
Fortunately for the ones, us, who are left behind, Glen Frey's legacy lives on ... his music will endure for generations to come. So I say, Thanks for the memories Glen ... Rest in Peace my friend.

First Lemmy, then David, now Glen. The soundtrack of my life is leaving me behind. Three of my favorites have moved forward with their careers. That's what I choose to believe. Even as an atheist I don't believe their greatness will be gone forever.

We boomers were so lucky to have great musicians. I pity the generation that is stuck having "fond memories" of gangsta rap music to listen to when they get older. Nothing beats "Stairway to Heaven" "Nights in white satin", etc....such a shame.

I think sometimes as we age , we tend to forget others are as well . although I don't think your old by any means in your 60's . quite often when I watch some of my fav groups and singers I wonder , who are all those old guys on stage , especially after looking at them , on u tube when they were young and in their prime . you sometimes think they will just go on for ever . but sadly it just ain t so . to those we've lost far to soon this year , R I P . and to quote one I think we also lost to young , "thanks for the memories "!

The Eagles have been one of my fave bands (and my fave American band) since Jr High. I'll never listen to "Peaceful Easy Feeling" the same way again.

67 is still young these days. Sorry to learn of his passing on to the next stage. The Baha'i Faith teaches that the life of the individual begins at conception, when the soul associates itself with the embryo. When death occurs, the body returns to the world of dust, while the soul continues to progress in the spiritual worlds of God
