Hundreds of indigenous women from the Ecuadorian Amazon are marching to protect nearly a million acres of their rainforest territory from an oil deal that Ecuador recently signed with Chinese state-owned oil company Andes Petroleum.

ALWAYS SUPPORT the Battles of ALL INDIGENOUS PEOPLES EVERYWHERE. They are on the Front Lines fighting the Battles of ALL OF US -
for our Children and their Future if they are to have one, for the Animals and for all Life on Earth.

Corporate Capitalism by its VERY NATURE, has to CONSTANTLY GROW.
Therefore, the Capitalist Corporations WON'T STOP -
they CAN'T STOP -
until they have extracted EVERY LAST RESOURCE THAT'S EXTRACTABLE,
from EVERY LAST SQUARE INCH OF THE EARTH.
And from the Air above and from the Waters below.
Therefore, WE HAVE TO PUT AN END TO CORPORATE CAPITALISM, BEFORE IT PUTS AN END TO US.
THIS IS WHAT IS IN OUR FUTURE if we don't STOP CORPORATE CAPITALISM.
[And, as in this instance, the Chinese are as Corporate Capitalistic as anyone, no matter WHAT they call themselves!]
We need a COMPASSIONATE, DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM, instead....

"The deal includes the territory of the Sápara indigenous people, a small threatened group of only 300 that has official recognition by UNESCO as an "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity."
It also includes the territory of the Kichwa people of Sarayaku, who won a historic case in 2012 at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights when Ecuador facilitated the entry of another oil company into their territory without prior consultation.

Once again, instead of obtaining the consent of the communities as Ecuadorian and international law requires,
the government waged a relentless campaign to divide the Sápara.
Despite the government's false claims of community approval and attempts to create its own Sápara federation,
the legitimate federation of the Sápara refuses to recognize any agreement for oil operations in their territory."

These campaigns by the Big International Corporations to DIVIDE the Indigenous People, WITHIN their tribes, bribing some and threatening others, dividing neighbors and families from within -
that is a VERY, VERY TYPICAL AND COMMON TACTIC TO WATCH OUT FOR.
It has been practiced - with considerable Success, I may add - on TRIBAL COMMUNITIES IN THE U.S. and also elsewhere. Setting up PHONEY "REPRESENTATIVE" GROUPS to make equally "Phoney" "Agreements" with.
THAT IS WHAT IS BEING COMBATTED HERE.
