So why aren't we talking about that?

We're not talking about it because the criminals that allowed such neglect would be facing charges. The Greedocracy at work. :(

Noted. Thanks, Cal.
I am all for relieving the Gov. of his duties and criminally charging him. Then, as Janis stated, put him in prison and make sure all his water comes from Flint.

Thanks Cal. I guess my comment disappeared. All who knew, need be incarcerated and forced to drink the contaminated water. Here's a bit of info that may help some.
The Research Association National University Of Singapore: Researcher, Rama Krishna Mallampati:
Mallampati discovered success with the combining of rubbing alcohol with tomato and apple peels. Rub small pieces of peels in alcohol solution then dry. Put the dried peels in dirty ground water for a few hours. It removed germs, pollutants, pesticides, dyes, nanoparticles and absorbs heavy metal ions. It doesn't ride it of pathogens, but I have that simple method. The best method to kill all pathogens, is boiling. Water boils at about 212 degrees F at sea level at barometric pressure about 30.3" of mercury. To kill all pathogens, protozoa, bacteria, viruses--(but doesn't neutralize harmful chemicals or radioactive particles): All pathogens die quickly at 185 degrees F. some at lower temp. By the time its at boiling point, even at low barometric pressures, all pathogens have neutralized. Bring water to boil and let it boil hard 1 minute--or hard boil 2 minutes on top of an extremely high mountain at very low barometric pressures. Boiling more does not help. it loses more water in steam and makes it taste flatter. Wait for it to cool.
1/Stir to add oxygen. 2/Pour from one sterile container into another several times. 3/Add a bit of salt. 4/Add 50 mg Vit.C per quart. 5/Add Kool-Aid 10% Vit.C or Tang 100% Vit.C.
Janice has much more info on water, but encourages you to read "Wilderness Survival" techniques.

We spend more on our military than the next 12 countries combined, yet can't provide our citizens with potable water. No wonder this nation is a laughingstock.

A storm is coming.

lead is toxic -- we need to test the water and the people -- in the public schools all over the country
