There is a Battle of two Wolves inside us all ~
One is evil: It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, lies, inferiority and ego!
The other is good: It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth!
The Wolf that wins? The one you feed!

Thanks Cal for posting this, was going to do so myself but saw you had just done so. Had already signed.

This has been a very long injustice that the US Government has no intention of correcting. With Gitmo and our torturing people this Nation still hasn't found it's moral compass. A shame really, as Americans it is not only an embarrassment but a true blight upon us all. We are all talk about human rights but our policies show otherwise in our actions.

Signed. I'm a huge supporter of Native Canadian and American rights. While everyone is whining about women's, immigrants and refugee rights, these people too often get swept under the carpet and treated like 5th class citizens. My father, an Irish immigrant, always told me that first and foremost it was their country and to respect them, treat them with the dignity they deserve and to care for their country and the creatures within.

My life is an extended agony.
I feel like I've lived a hundred life-times in prison already.
But, I'm prepared to live thousands more on behalf of my people.
If my imprisonment does nothing
more than educate an unknowing and uncaring public
about the terrible conditions Indian
people continue to endure, then my suffering has had --
and continues to have -- a purpose.
My people's struggle to survive inspires my own struggle to survive.
Each of us must be a survivor.
- Leonard Peltier

Leonard Peltier Quotes:

No human being should ever have to fear for his own life because of political or religious beliefs. We are all in this together, my friends, the rich, the poor, the red, white, black, brown and yellow. We share responsibility for Mother Earth and those who live and breathe upon her ..never forget that.

To heal will require real effort, and a change of heart, from all of us. To heal means that we will begin to look upon one another with respect and tolerance instead of prejudice, distrust and hatred. We will have to teach our children-as well as ourselves-to love the diversity of humanity....We can do it. Yes, you and I and all of us together. Now is the time. Now is the only possible time. Let the Great Healing begin.

Leonard Peltier has been incarcerated on false charges for way too long. Write to Obama directly to pardon Leonard as one of his last acts in office. Who else has been incarcerated for 40 years on trumped up charges? It is inhumane.
