The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Geneva Convention both lay down the expectations of any civilised nation with regard to the Humane treatment of detainees and prisoners.

It would be good it both these measures were introduced into this world...Israel, the USA and the UK would make three great places to start such a radical departure.

Hamas does not let Red Cross to visit Israeli captive solder for several years. What does The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Geneva Convention say about that?
