I read the article.....I'm aghast at the treatment of the Palestinians. I shouldn't be by now, but the news gets worse by the minute. When I think of the elderly, the sick and the children, I can't find the words to express my outrage. It has been exceedingly cold here where I live the last few days, and the heat hasn't been adequate....but I'm not freezing to death, I can boil water on the stove! I thought of the situation in Gaza these past few days, and cannot imagine how horrible it is. I have severe health problems myself, and when I think of what these dear people have to go through just to get whatever help they can......unforgivable and vicious. The picture above says it all.

The OWNERS of your ONCE FREE Press will NOT tell you what is being done using YOUR tanks, YOUR gunships and YOUR MONEY.

In WWII , these ''superior races'' were MURDERING the other ''Superior Races''... PROVING that there are NONE.

The GOOD does not LIE, MURDER and STEAL.

The GOOD defends Life, EDUCATES LIFE and ELEVATES the future of LIFE.

The EVIL murders Life to OWN the DIRT they treasure.

Which retarded neanderthal CULT OWNS this EARTH ?

How many BULLETS will we need to PROVE that WE are the superior race ?

Is the LAST HUMAN STANDING, ''The Good One'' ?

There are NO physical solutions to Humanity's MENTAL problems.

Bullets offer NO ANSWERS, they only MURDER Humanity's QUESTIONS.

Leaving only the EVIL , LYING MURDERERS standing.

No LYING MURDERER has EVER been, ''A Winner''.

EVERY worshiper of SATAN will live in the HELL they made, surrounded by MURDERERS just like themselves.

Heartbreaking and I wholeheartedly agree Samantha ...

"Without exception, no fuel or food and medicines while we are living in the gloom the majority of time as a result of cutting the electricity. The Zionist Israeli occupation has been practising a collective punishment against 1.5 millions in Gaza. The punishment does not exclude children, women or elderly. No patients will travel abroad for treatment now, whatever their health status, before the 18th of January Israelis used to refuse almost 26% of the patients applying to travel for treatment. Today it is 100% closure, the patients now have to face their destiny and to die in peace. No coffins in Gaza any more, there is not even Cement to build their graves."

Video: Humanitarian impact of Israel's blockade of Gaza - 21 Jan 08
Gaza's 1.5 million residents are struggling to cope without electricity and other basic necessities on the fourth day of an Israeli blockade. Hospitals have begun to run short of fuel for generators, and sewage has spilled out onto the streets.

If you allow someone to launch rockets from you`r backyard, then what do you expect ?
It only makes one to make war, but two to make peace.

Note that if the situation is viewed as a war the Israelis are WITHIN the laws the laws of war (Genava Conventions, Hague conventions etc.)

Carl, if someone close to me allowed this to happen, I don't expect that they would bomb my home and kill my family .... oh, and to my knowledge, it's not a war!

- On freedom of movement, Article 12, paragraph 1 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights provides that: “Everyone lawfully within the territory of a State shall, within that territory, have the right to liberty of movement and freedom to choose his residence.”
- On the prohibition of collective punishment, see Article 50 of The Hague IV Regulations, 1907: “No general penalty, pecuniary or otherwise, shall be inflicted upon the population on account of the acts of individuals for which they cannot be regarded as jointly and severally responsible”; Article 33, The Fourth Geneva Convention, 1949: “Collective penalties and likewise all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are prohibited”; and Article 51, the 1st Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions, 1977
Article 49, paragraphs 1 and 5 of The Fourth Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in the Time of War, 1949,
- The Geneva Declaration on Terrorism states: “As repeatedly recognised by the United Nations General Assembly, peoples who are fighting against colonial domination and alien occupation and against racist regimes in the exercise of their right of self-determination have the right to use force to accomplish their objectives within the framework of international humanitarian law. Such lawful uses of force must not be confused with acts of international terrorism.”
In the exercise of their right to self-determination, peoples under colonial and alien domination have the right “to struggle ... and to seek and receive support, in accordance with the principles of the Charter” and in conformity with the Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Co-operation among States. It is in these terms that Article 7 of the Definition of Aggression (General Assembly Resolution 3314 (XXIX) of 14 December 1974) recognizes the legitimacy of the struggle of peoples under colonial or alien domination.

Do you claim that Hamas uses force "to accomplish their objectives within the framework of international humanitarian law" ?

You make m,e a question and I answer you!
I say nothing but INTERNATIONAL LAW SAY:
- International humanitarian and human rights law prohibits collective punishment, mass civilian imprisonment, and grave violations of rights to freedom of movement;
- The Commission on Human Rights has routinely reaffirmed the legitimacy of struggling against occupation by all available means, including armed struggle (CHR Resolution No. 3 XXXV, 21 February 1979 and CHR Resolution No. 1989/19, 6 March 1989). Explicitly, UN General Assembly Resolution 37/43, adopted 3 December 1982: “Reaffirms the legitimacy of the struggle of peoples for independence, territorial integrity, national unity and liberation from colonial and foreign domination and foreign occupation by all available means, including armed struggle.” (See also UN General Assembly Resolutions 1514
- (See also UN General Assembly Resolutions 1514, 3070, 3103, 3246, 3328, 3382, 3421, 3481, 31/91, 32/42 and 32/154).

Article 1, paragraph 4 of the 1st Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions, 1977, considers self-determination struggles as international armed conflict situations. The Geneva Declaration on Terrorism

The Geneva Declaration on Terrorism states: “As repeatedly recognised by the United Nations General Assembly, peoples who are fighting against colonial domination and alien occupation and against racist regimes in the exercise of their right of self-determination have the right to use force to accomplish their objectives within the framework of international humanitarian law. Such lawful uses of force must not be confused with acts of international terrorism.”
