Investigate the banks by all means. Banks are the ultimate conspiracy against the people.

Banks need to be sending US checks. Should we start a class action suit against our banks for that 16,000 each and every citizen should get, that they took?

"We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can’t have both." —Louis D. Brandeis, U.S. Supreme Court Justice
"Economic growth without social progress lets the great majority of the people remain in poverty, while a privleged few reap the benefits of rising abundance." —John F. Kenney, U.S. President
"The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerated the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than the democratic state itself. That in its essence is fascism: ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or any controlling private power." — Franklin D. Roosevelt
"Economic advance is not the same thing as human progress." —John Clapham, A Concise Economic History of Britain, 1957
"Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration."— Abraham Lincoln, U.S. President
"Private capital tends to become concentrated in few hands, partly because of competition among the capitalists, and partly because technological development and the increasing division of labor encourage the formation of larger units of production at the expense of the smaller ones. The result of these developments is an oligarchy of private capital the enormous power of which cannot be effectively checked even by a democratically organised political society. This is true since the members of legislative bodies are selected by political parties, largely financed or otherwise influenced by private capitalists who, for all practical purposes, separate the electorate from the legislature. The consequence is that the representatives of the people do not in fact sufficiently protect the interests of the underprivileged sections of the population. Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education). It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights." —Albert Einstein, (1949)
"...An exaggerated competitive attitude is inculcated into the student, who is trained to worship acquisitive success as a preparation for his future career."—Albert Einstein

Thank-you for the post Myron.
Janice, we should. And get all those pensions back to those who earned them, w/interest. Save our Post Office now held hostage and under siege. Notice how all that we've built that REALLY works very well gets sabotaged and stolen? Use carefully researched and selected community banks and credit unions ONLY. NO AUSTRIAN SCHOOL ECONOMICS. NO MBM.
Pure MBM. . .Dark days in U.S. History:
AUSTRIAN SCHOOL ECONOMICS Marketing Based Management MBM is not compatible with a participatory democracy. We were building a MIXED ECONOMY an UNIQUE AMERICAN ECONOMY NOT...AUSTRIAN SCHOOL (aka: "trickle-down") PIPE DREAM BULL DUNG.
Our "intelligent ancestors" left foundations for a democracy with a unique "new mixed economy" and we need to carry it forward. Why are we always fighting for so-called progress? Progress from what set point? Who set it? What are the measures? Who created these measures? and... Who is it that wants to hold us back? Why?
There is no more time for lies and denies . .remember our SMART history. . . our integrity. . .remember what makes democracy work. . .
