Some people are so shitty. Relieved this beautiful girl was rescued--wondering if she's just in foster care or has actually been adopted--it didn't say. Thanks Dan

I am so glad that the vile, worthless, waste of human skin took her into a shelter, poor Mitsies has probably just been 'tolerated' for many years now and has lived a horrible existence of being neglected, shouted at and possibly abused; I have no doubt she has received a few kicks to get her out of the way when all she sought was affection

I was just about to say the same thing as Natasha, as it appears Mitsies is in the same situation as any other pet in the US who has wound up in a no-kill rescue, she still needs to find her forever home.

I have looked her up on the Angels Amonst Us FB page, but they have so many comments and never update their header, so you have to painstakingly scroll through thousands of comments to find 'if' they have posted an update. unfortunately my Firefox keeps crashing so that is not a job I am able to attempt.

I can't see any featured pets on the adoption page of their website (maybe you have to sign up) and I can't find her on Petfinder, maybe she would be there if she was still available, unless I have missed her.

The good news is there are hundreds of shares so she will probably find her forever home, however there are approximately 10,000 pets who are killed in the US per day (HSUS figures of 3-4 million per year) who don't have the fortunate media coverage that Mitsies has had.

Noted with thanks Dan.

I hope she has children who when she gets older get sick of her. How sad for Missie, hopefully she found a loving home.
Thank you Dan

Sometimes I really don't like humanity. This is heart wrenching - but I know it happens a lot. I have seen it in shelters. I am so glad this has a happy ending though. I think many similar cases don't...

What a heartless cretin. Missie is a sweetie. Years ago a small black cat appeared in our yard and was very friendly. We had to go out after a while and when we returned in an hour she was still there sitting in a lawn chair. We found a tattoo in her ear and phoned the Humane Society. They phoned her owner who lived close by and she told them "I don't want her anymore so I just put her outside". So she became part of our crew and was a lovely girl all her life. Some people are so self-centred they should just wander off and disappear.

This goes on all the time, all over the world and it is just not on. What despicable rotten rubbish humans do these things to animals. This poor dog once had a family, now she is being dumped like rubbish. Well, I would certainly like to meet these insane owners and give them a piece of my mind and my fist! Very happy she has been taken away from these awful monsters.

I hope one day, when the 2-legged bitch is in her twilight years, her children would dumped her too because they're sick of her.

Noté..... pour certains, les animaux sont des objets......quel honte! L'essentiel est que Mitsie ait connu un happy end. Merci Dan pour ce partage.
