Why saving life is criminal?

Granted, his actions were not exactly lawful - but being homeless he probably didn't have the money to spring his dog. Can you blame him? He is more sinned against than sinning, IMHO.

i can't imagine doing anything other than he did. Well perhaps I would have hired it done but given he was homeless he couldn't do that.
Thank you Dan

"Stoffle was given an option by the judge to find a permanent private kennel for Sid, but he was unable to do so." No kidding! A private kennel? Give me (Stoffle and Sid) a freakin' break.

"(The dog has) been shown in previous attempts that he will attack unprovoked.”

Something really smells rotten here.

I wish bad fortune on anyone who helps the authorities locate the pair.

Thanks Dan. And BTW: No offense, but I find it very easy to condone his actions.

I agree Kathy. No offense taken as everyone's opinions are sought here.I just happen to agree with you as i am hoping this pair does'nt get caught and though un-lawful in the eyes of society, his buddy's life is more important than the consequences he may face.Thank you for your note and comment my friend :-)

I signed a petition earlier about this. Leave the poor man alone.

I sympathize with this man trying to save his dog companion! I really want to hear HIS side of the story. Being homeless is dangerous, and it sounds as if the dog was possibly protecting his person. Unfortunately we only are getting one side of this story, the "official version". So many times the poor/homeless/powerless person does not get a chance to be heard.
