It's a sad day when humans have so little regard for one another that they just pass by the body of a woman who has died, leaving her in the street to rot. But dogs are on a higher plane than humans.... Featured story on today's Animal News Sentinel.

Humans definitely do suck; I'm with you Lawren. I am also very worried about those poor dogs.

"Hopefully someone, or the community, will step in and care for these poor dogs now that they are without the only person in the world who cared about them." They're probably already on their way to Yulin. Life is cheap in China, as demonstrated by the emergency workers who showed, left and came back 6 hours later. That wouldn't have happened in the West. Thanks, Dan.

Sadly noted Dan. The lady was 15 years old - in my country we call her a girl - that left a 15 year old girl dead on the streets of China?! What is wrong with this country?!!! I pray these pooches are cared for.

Scary! Frightening! Terrifying for those dogs! What will be of them now? Obviously the lady had a very compassionate soul... but now she is gone... and her dogs were left behind... So sad! Especially because it happened in China! Humans are the worst living creature ever. I'm ashamed to belong to this species. I like to think of myself as having come from another planet and ended up here as a punishment... I must have done something terrible to deserve sharing this planet with such horrible species.
Wishing the best for those babes... if that is ever possible...

Oh my God, how heartbreaking. These poor angels have no one - who will help them! You are so right MJ, I feel the same way.
