In this picture, which was posted on social media websites last week, two Palestinians can be seen protecting a female Israeli police officer from a group of stone-throwing Israeli settlers.

"If they can burn a child alive without batting an eye, they're obviously totally amoral and are capable of ANYTHING."

How true, Harvey!

Thanks for this article, Sam. I bet your "good ol' friend" will show up here and tell us a bedtime story - LOL!

This just goes to show that the State of Israel does NOT have a grip on its over half a Million extremists who reside in the Occupied Territories. Does not WANT I can safely guess as they would have the means to reign them in. Which goes to show how serious the many statements by Bibi and other officials about taking harsh measures against these terrorists are ... ZERO!

Thanks Sam.
What a perfect demonstration of settlers' gratitude for having been shielded by Israeli Police so far!

This makes clear how very close they've come to destroying themselves, turning against each other, like I have often predicted.
Now what, if Palestinians would stop jumping in to help shield Police from their own citizens? Who could blame Palestinians for not wanting to put their own lives at risk for those who've been frequently harrassing and kiling them?
When we see injured or perhaps even killed ("stone throwing can kill") Police? How will the state leadership react, facing the result of their own preaching? They've been feeding the monster like mushrooms in the dark, now it's grown big and powerful and comes to light, biting them in the ass.

What now, Mr. Nutyahoo? How will you "crack down on" your half a million people?
And Mr Ya'alon, how wil you "wage an uncompromising battle against Jewish terrorism" in order to win " the fight for the state's image"? While at the same time you vowed to "use sparingly the drastic measure" that is administrative detention?
No doubt Israeli leadership has a HUGE problem on their hands for the whole world to see, no use in denying any longer. You now reap what you sowed, so much for " about the.. what?"

When Israel's own government incites violence against Palestinians, what else would you expect from the settlers?? Thanks Sam.

Great comment Angie and so agree with Harvey and Eleonora. See also Evelyn's post:

None so blind ...... B & B play the usual games ....

The extremist settlers are becoming more and more active - but foolish to turn on the IDF, who are there only to protect settlers in case of Palestinians reacting violently to settler provocation .... their orders specify this, and their training orients them to believe that the Palestinians are the "bad guys" - but that could change

Mind you, the situation on the ground might become more balanced if IDF started distrusting the settlers more ...

Thanks, Sam

barbaric and uncivilized? don't see it yo. on the contrary. the fact that arabs are still alive and well in judea and samaria spells to me that the jew is less barbaric than us and a lot more civilized. they ARE going to start killing soon. the blood of arabs will soak the land of Judea and Samaria. you'll see.

They may burn children, throw stones at soldiers of their ow country, etc., but they won't be as ridiculous as you.

Hi Stephen - I don't quite see the connection between the Israeli terrorists burning children and Sam ...???

I also don't know if this latest news goes under ridiculous but ... we've just learned from the news that little Aly's father has died too as a consequence of the burns he sustained from the terrorist attack.

May they be united and rest in peace!

Well, there's ONE global action against these latest murderous attacks: this AVAAZ Petition for anyone who wishes to sign.

I've signed, though I do not believe it will do much or any good. Signatures are rather slow in coming, the petition has NO author, something turning off most people, and the ICC isn't a place to consider petitions. What the prosecutor appreciates is information of alledged war crimes and crimes against humanity /international law and regarding this latest case it has already received the information from the PA on Aug.3.
Furthermore, it would only investigate if the relevant state is unable or unwilling to conduct their own investigation of the crime/s, meaning it would wait what Israel comes up with after having declared they are investigating this with "all means available".
At least, this is how I see things.
