The event, attended by an estimated 100,000 people, was a rare show of strength by Israel's dovish opposition, as speakers and demonstrators took aim at the hardline policies of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Participants held banners reading "Enough scaring, yes to hope" and "Peace Now." Clinton encouraged them to carry on Rabin's legacy. From article

Twenty years after Rabin was shot and Israel started to go downhill, the attendance of 100,000 people who want peace is encouraging.
Thank you for sharing, Sam.

It's important to keep the memory of Rabin's actions alive. Thanks Sam.

Thanks Sam.
Still, as nice as Clinton's gesture was, I find his words somewhat ambiguous, he COULD have been a bit clearer in what IS the right decision. And if not Clinton, who else could speak to a crowd of 100.000 encouraging them to SHOW UP more frequently for demanding peace, NOT ONLY commemorating Rabin?! That I missed and we all agree that oridnary Israelis need to have more BIG rallies for peace, without facing retribution!
What to make of Rivlin's words... he sure wasn't lying stating they do not fear Israeli terrorists, they're proving it!
