While the Oil Palm Industry in Papua New Guinea is preaching millions of kina in profit, it has come at a cost to the local inhabitants that once use to occupy the areas under oil palm... environmental cost...erosion of social structures...

MEN BEHAVE AS IF THIS EARTH IS ONE OF THEIR "SPARE PARTS"; AS IF GENERATIONS TO COME MIGHT HAVE ANOTHER "EARTH" TO GO AND LIVE ON!!!! WE STILL HAVE TO DISCOVER A LOT ABOUT THE MYSTERIOUS OCEAN LIFE!!!!!!!! BUT WE ARE DESTROYING IT IN THE MEANTIME!!! IT IS THE SAME WITH RAIN FORESTS: SCIENTISTS SAY WE KNOW ONLY 3% OF THE FLORA (Plants) & FAUNA (Animals) OF RAINFORESTS BUT WE ARE DESTROYING THEM CONTINUOUSLY!!!! There MIGHT BE A CURE for CANCER or AIDS in the PLANTS WE DO NOT KNOW YET, BUT WE ARE GETTING RID OF THESE OPPORTUNITIES, JUST BECAUSE OF MONEY & GREED!!!!!!! ILLEGAL LOGGING/ PALM OIL PLANTATIONS/ POACHING, BUSHMEAT, etc !!!

BIG OIL / TIMBER / PALM OIL CORPORATIONS (LOBBY - MAFIA) TOGETHER WITH CERTAIN POLITICIANS ARE DESTROYING RAINFORESTS, FORESTS, OCEANS, LAND, RESOURCES, AIR, SLAUGHTERING WHAT REMAINS OF WILDLIFE and BIODIVERSITY ALL-OVER THE WORLD. CAUSING A ONE-WAY ONLY ENVIRONMENTAL, and ANIMAL DISASTER!!!! AND, MORE THAN THIS, CAUSING CO2 EMISSIONS and ACCELERATING CLIMATE CHANGE, GLOBAL WARMING!!!! WE DO NOT HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT TO RAISE OUR VOICES!!!! WE MUST DO IT FOR OUR FUTURE and FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS!!! WE and OUR CHILDREN DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER PLANET WHERE TO GO WHEN THIS IS EXHAUSTED!!!!!!!

Corruption=Money=Economical Interests= Greed=CorporationLobbies.... these are the real ENEMIES to the Survival of ALL WILDLIFE and, consequently, of our Mother EARTH and of our FUTURE on this Planet as Human Race!!! We don't have a.... "spare" Planet where to live.......

The problem is the centralization of the food chain. Giant corporation now fed the too huge human population. In order to provide food on a mass scale, farms on a mass scale must be made. Fast food requires large amounts of cheap food sources. The mega corps run roughshod over the native peoples and strip them of what is theirs to feed us. Stop going to the fast food outlets. Stop eating beef. Don't buy those things made with palm oil. When the market stops, they will too.

There is already too much social devastation in the US. We have lost our webs. The damage is enormous. It is important to be alert to places where there webs can still be preserved.

Signed, #220. Thanks Jenny. This type of atrocity is happening all over the world with increaseing speed. The larger the consumer base/markets, the greater the destruction of the earth to feed all the hungers. Palm oil is but one, and it is awful.
