i don't see how salt can stop an ingrown toenail infection if the toenail isn't taken care of also. i'm not being argumentative, i just don't understand. i take rice vinegar (i love it by itself as a salad dressing) every day and i wonder if that works the same as apple cider vinegar. i don't get heartburn but i didn't get it before i started eating it. i think many of these statements are true but they need to be taken in conjunction with other beneficial foods, exercise, and lifestylet
