An injured Palestinian emotionally recalls how Hamas shot him six times, but an Israeli soldier came to his rescue and saved him. He is angry and yet grateful.

I wanted to cry with this poor man, crippled for life by Hamas, and the shock that his life was saved by an Israeli, who he had been told was an enemy.

I imagine the emotional trauma of being shot six times, losing his legs, and then having an Israeli save him, this man is overcome by emotion.

I would be too.

"The Palestinians put six bullets in my legs. The Jews saved me. The Arabs tried to kill me." His world was turned upside down. It must be humbling to realize that the people you were taught to hate, didn't hate you. He is, understandably, overcome with gratitude. Thanks, Patricia.

The eternal battle between good and evil and it never ceases to amaze me how many numbskulls support evil.
Thanks for the story Patricia.

Poor man.

The point here is a reminder that Palestinians are under the thrall of a brutal regime.
If it was down to the ordinary people I'm sure a peace deal could be worked out so that both sides could live peacefully and prosperously together.

It's those with a hate agenda who keep the cycle of violence perpetuating.

The vast majority of Palestinians want to totally eradicate Israel. 98% of what Yasser Arafat wanted he was offered, and yet turned it down. And that is because, it was either 100% or intifada, and of course, we know it was intifada.

Getting the Palestinian right of return for children and grandchildren of actual refugees -- when only the refugees themselves are defined by the UN as actual refugees for every other country -- would demographically destroy Israel. NO country is under obligation to commit suicide.

With the latest Palestinians stabbing Israelis and blowing up buses, on top of much other history, Israelis, even those on the Left who have favored land for peace, understand that the Palestinians want total destruction of Israel, so there is no one to bargain with on the Palestinian side.

The Palestinians say one thing (peace/two state solution) to their foreign speaking audiences, and to their Arabic-speaking audiences: nothing but total occupation of ALL of Israel and drive the Jews into the sea.

They fool the gullible Western audiences time and time again.

Israelis would be happy to give up land if they knew that the land they gave up would be used to build a friendly state, but it never has. Israel gave up the Sinai, which has been used by various Arab terrorist groups to launch attacks. The same thing goes for Israel's unilateral withdrawal from Gaza (which by the way used to be under the Egyptians, but the Palestinians were such a pain in the ass, that they gave it to Israel).

As many know, daily rockets are fired at civilians from Gaza. Even ISIS is planning to launch a huge attack against Israel from the Sinai.

The Arabs have abused every opportunity they have had. Abbas continues to incite from the Judea and Samaria. There are just precious few times that the Arabs haven't broken virtually every deal they've entered into.

They have also shown, as in Gaza, absolutely no moves to build the institutions necessary for a viable state. Rather, the leaders have pocketed billions of dollars, and what is left over has been pumped into weapons and tunnel (for attack against Israel) building.

Even when the PA had a person who was trying to plan for institutions for a viable state, he was driven out.

Clearly, there is not interest, to say the least, on the Palestinian side, to think about peace. It's destruction of Israel or nothing.
