Best way to reduce gun violence in the USA: Abolish gun control and resume teaching our citizens they are responsible for their weapons. The irresponsible few will vanish quickly and the rest of us will shoot paper at the range happily.

Comment left and petition signed. We must address the problem of the mentally ill and guns. Every American should have access to mental health coverage. You can't have one without the other.

As a non-US citizen, I URGE all Americans to keep pushing for tighter gun controls, particularly checks into ownership. Would much prefer to hear, though, that citizens are willing to relinquish entirely their Constitutional "right to bear arms".

Maybe its time for the Republicans to get on board with the American People before they lose most of their constituents & votes next election in their districts.(O_O)

If you are simple minded enough to be on this bandwagon I suggest you also jump on this one.
It will give you the same absurdly simple answer to an extremely sad and complicated problem.
Julie Cordner I really get a giggle out of your comment. I would not hold my breath. There are still a bunch of sane people here. You get my Left Wing Nut Sheeple silver star award for Bleating platitudes.
Everyone but Fred Krohn and Winn Adams gets my - Left Wing Nut Sheeple lead star award for Bleating platitudes. The lead star denotes you didn't put any thought into your bleat at all.
Does any rational person think these idiots in Washington are going to do ANYTHING rational?
We must all work together and find real solutions to this sad state of affairs.
This problem is ALL about our Culture of Violence here in the good ol USA.
Violence is a disease. Until we as a people realize this and demand funding to treat this epidemic we are bound to continue down this sad path.
As a good start I propose we outlaw war. We are using our endless wars to spread this disease world wide. It is no wonder we experience the disease so often. We are the host for the most part!
Pray for peace.
