Notice that the federal government even broke the law trying to cover this up by not giving the info to the press when it was requested. We can NOT allow any more offshore drilling. BP even wants MORE wells and we have to speak up.

Comment from the comment section on the article:
"As T. Boone Pickens said we import 78%of our oil from countrys that hate our guts. If they Turn off the valve --we are done, We should have had an energy policy 40 years ago but no to much greed. Remember Washington what goes around comes around."

There is a monumental need to explore other sources of energy for everything the modern world wants/needs. It is already here but too many are ignoring it in favor of oil & political hand holding with the Saudi's!!

We need a major shift in our lifestyles, we don't need big vehicles, we don't need big houses, we don't need most the stuff people buy.

I wish I had a buck for every petition I've signed
and e-mail I've sent to stop offshore drilling.
Now I find out there's 30,000 abandoned wells
in the Gulf. The problem is worse than I could
have imagined.
NotSilent, thanks for the info you posted above.
I've got alot more work to do, it would appear.
