SEATTLE, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Animal rights activists are fighting a proposal by the U.S. Navy to use dolphins to patrol the chilly waters of Puget Sound off Washington state. The Navy has trained 78 dolphins, 27 sea lions and a beluga whale to alert human

I say let the Navy do it themselves, or find another mammal more suited for these waters. Leave our most beloved dolphins alone!!

This makes me so angry. What is wrong with them.

They had a "Magnum P.I." where the enemy had strapped a bomb to the back of the dolphin. And of course the bomb went off but the dolphin emerged from the water doing flips. That was not real, this is.

To do such a horrific thing as use dolphins for expirements like this is beyond cruel! You bet it angers me! I don't want them strapping bombs on a dolphin or any sea creature! Thnx Jacqueline.

These are the people that have no regard for the wild relatives by using sonar

Well, I slightly wondered if those activist knew how many nukes are there would they rather piss off about the immensity of the arsenal or rather continue to anger only about dolphins.

THe case for dolphins sounds pretty hopeless to me.
It seems evil to use these ever smiling creatures like this.

well it all sounds pretty damn useless to me, if the mammals will be so impaired, what is the point? how can they function? they sound like decoys, actually, so what is the military really hiding?
all these powerful people with their nuclear weapons, waiting to exterminate each other, they will take down every living creature if they get the slightest nudge to do so.
