Wow! Wow! What clever puppies, to know what to do for the toddler; he certainly was lucky. Thanks Jacqueline, for this story.

Puppies and a 3 year old boy lost for 20 hours in freezing temperatures. Shouldn't an investigation be going on here? Something just doesn't sound right here....

I saw this on the news and was so happy to see the boy was ok. And his little heroes deserve big rewards for saving him. Thanks for this happy ending story Jacqueline.

I hope the little boy will be ok and that the puppies will have forever homes. They deserve it. Noted thanks.

I have to agree with Samantha. Although I am very happy that it turned out the way it did, I think it should be looked into. It just doesn't sit right with me.

Why would a little boy and puppies get 'lost' in the woods? I agree, does not sound right. Clever woofs.

I believe this.. puppies are smart in that way.. maybe too they knew they needed the warmth of the boy as much as he needed them.. so they both helped each other survive.. I know from experience that a child can wander away from the house.. my daughter did once & walked all the way down to the creek.. I heard our English Springer Spaniel barking & followed the bark to my daughter... she was on the edge of the bank throwing rocks in the water & thats why the dog was barking.. but I credited the dog barking that saved her life.. for i would never have thought she would have wandered so far from the house... & she was also around 3 years old. she had a knack of wandering off.. thank god the dog knew enough to follow her & bark ..I could have lost her to drowning if not for my dog "Sadia".. but 20 hours .. maybe you all are right.. thats along time to be lost in the woods.. Child Welfare should be lokoing into this one for sure...
