Greetings Cathryne,

Thanks for posting this story as it brings to light the "resource wars" that have already begun, and which threaten so many. Not enough attention is paid to these wars--other than focus on Iraq--and the situation becomes more dire with each passing day. Sometimes I think that many don't realize the essence of these types of wars, and how they have been waged in the last 20 years even; a very good book is "Resource Wars" by Michael Klare (2004). It's an excellent summary of how these wars were, and will be, the future face of warfare amongst humankind. The more awareness is raised the better! =)
