With NO Response From the Serbian Government To His Letter, MEP Mr. Taylor Continues To Work to Help STRAY ANIMALS IN SERBIA

As a candidate country seeking membership of the EU, failing to respond to the documented requests of an MEP in the EU Parliament for well over 2 months is not exactly the best way forward for the Serbian government.

Mr Taylor is a rare MEP - one who cares about animals and does not hide behind buck passing and platitudes. Thank you Mr Taylor.

Sadly, this is not a surprise for me at all. Surprise would be if anybody from Serbian government even try to answer (anything) considering animal welfare. Also, surprise shall be if this has any negative effect on Serbian "path" to EU membership - Romania (Lend of death –for stray dogs) is already EU member!
Thank you Mr Taylor & Thank you Desanka

Thank you. The world needs men like Mr. Taylor!
How many years will it take to show people reverence for all sentient beings, who have not been taught the sanctity of life, all life.

Shows you the caliber of government over there, and I reckon it's the same here. One man takes it upon himself to help stray animals, and he doesn't even get an answer from the government. How these idiots ever get into power is tragic for all of us, and the fight for animal welfare goes on by those who care. What a tough road to travel. It's so awful that animals have to suffer because of people--the rotters of the world.

Mr. Taylor you are such a compassionate man and Thank you doesn't seem enough for what you are doing to help these animals. These precious lives should never have to suffer and it is because of people. It is so heartbreaking and when you see what these innocent victims have gone through it makes you stronger and madder and keeps you fighting for them.

Well, I am impressed. He is really looking out for the dogs who so badly need him and has recognized it is a problem all over Europe and not as a problem for the people by by the people and for the dogs. Does that make sense? Maybe things could change for them. IT would be most excellent to know a shift is happening for them.

I agree with Ljiljana. In summer I have spent one week out of private relationship in the deepest Serbia - region Novi Pazar. It started with an unfriendly customs officer with a miserable way of speaking English what I could hardly understand although I made abitur in English at school. Only after my girl friend let him know in serbian language that he should not be so unkind and his behaviour is no good impression for me and my first visit in this country, I could pass and drive. The standard of living in the region N.P. is bad. In summary I can only say I was glad to be back well in Austria without damages to my car and you can only visit this country with a native speaker.
A small hope regarding animal welfare are such persons like Mr. Taylor and I can imagine that it is hard work in this country. In my opinion Serbia is not ready for EU membership.
Thank you for sharing
