Florian Mehnert completed the project and reveals that he did not intend to kill the rat. If use of drones in ethical, we can argue now. What matters is that whether or not we ever achieve "world peace", every life saved, including THE RAT, is a victory.

According to German news, the artist handed over the animal voluntarily. The veterinarian said that Mr. Mehnert was treating the albino rat humanely. The animal is in a safe place now, the District Office reports in a press release. That is all I know.

I heard this and was quite happy. Animal Petitions had a petition out today to stop him but happily it is not longer necessary. I don't want them in my house(wild ones) but I have great respect for all rats and lived with them for a while-domestic ones that ia. Actually I and the while ones too and that was not pleasant as they do a lot of damage.
