Islamist Terror Threats Against National Geographic for Bin Laden Film

'Enough threats have come in that the network is on higher security alert,' the source said. 'They have a huge public building with a museum and 1,600 people working.' (The Qur'an commands death for those who cause 'mischief' for Islam)

Yes, Islam's scriptures are full of commands to kill and dominate and persecute non-Muslims. Here's the best one for fueling Orthodox Muslim hatemongers and terrorists:

“The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom.” QUR’AN 5:33 (Authoritative quranic commentator Ibn Kathis intreprets this to mean ‘criticism’ or ‘to engage in opposition’ to Islam)

Thanks for posting this. Care 2 would never publish this on their Daily Causes Newsletter, unfortunately. Don't want to 'offend the Muslims', but if it had been right wing faux Christians it would have been the first story of the day.

Girls, please, we all know that it is acceptable for Muslims to issue death threats etc so that we can apologize for making them riot and kill people.

This i just another excuse to be whiney little babies who can't handle anyone saying anything they don't like even if it's true.

They can't handle real history, such as the Holocaust and the fact bin Laden is dead now, so they have to force us to re-write it to suit their delicate sensibilities. Let's just use all that Saudi oil to make bubble wrap, so we can coddle their fragile little selves even more.

"The National Geographic Channel's Washington, DC headquarters has increased security after being inundated with terror threats over the upcoming release of the film Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden, according to a source."

So, the problem is the truth causes "mischief" for Islam? And this somehow justifies bloody mob violence? Hoo. If they didn't like that fool's "movie", they are going to really blow over this one. Reminds me of one of Jack Nicholson's characters who said "you can't handle the truth". Well, apparently, neither can muslims. Bin Laden is a world wide and self-proclaimed mass murderer. How is his death an insult to Islam? What is an insult to Islam and to the rest of the world are the beheadings of any who hold another faith, the arrests of children who have another faith, the attempted murder of a little girl who just wanted an education, I could go on but this would become a book of itself. All this "mischief" is one way to Muslims. Their own hateful rhetoric is apparently okay, death to American, the great satan, death to the infidels, death to anyone who opposes their goal of world domination. Those kinds of threats are sunni side up, or shiite side down, and perfectly acceptable in their view of the world, but any slight toward them is a death sentence. Pthhh. They are a virus the world will have to one day deal with and that day may be coming sooner than we think. No one is safe while such as these roam the streets with impunity murdering and burning and terrorizing everyone else. THAT is what is unacceptable. Peaceful religion my butt...

I only hope that the National Geographic stands up to the pressure and doesn't back down on the film, like so many who cave in to self-censorship from the threats, bodily, terrorist, or legal, of Islamists.

Muslim extremist groups' warning that anyone airing a film like this is asking for trouble.
That line seems familiar to me _ The Iman said the same thing about the Ground Zero Mask
Bring it on!

Send these radicals back to the hell holes they come from. Stop allowing them to preach against Christians while in OR countries and zero tolerance for any of them braking our laws.

When one does not have a truthful, solid foundation, one can only resort to threats and violence to keep others from revealing the weak foundation. Such is the case with Islam, with Muhammad as its model. Muhammad was a weakling who could not handle criticism because he knew he was full of it. Questions were causing people to leave Islam, so the aya was "revealed" discouraging people from asking questions about Islam, thereby blindly following it. (Contrast with the Bible and see how thinking is encouraged in both the Old and New Testaments.)

Muhammad was a bully, a ruthless, child-raping, woman-raping, murderous, lying bully. True Muslims have no choice but to act irrationally and violently. Just like the mafia, or any gang, giving in to their violence only allows it to gain more ground. We need to stand up to Islam and not let it control us through fear, which is all what Muhammad was about. Muslim fundamentalists like Bin Laden, Hamas, etc. are not "extremists" but hold true to Muhammad's false teachings and demonic example.

I will contact National Geographic through their site and let them know I support them and they should not cower to Islamic fundamentalists.

If we continue apologizing for everything any Muslim finds "offensive," we will spend the rest of our lives apologizing. Kudos to National Geographic for standing up for our values. The rest of the media (and our governments) need to do the same.

I hope National Geographic don't cave in and air the film the time it was scheduled for. Those Muslims must be taught a lesson - their bullying and threats of violence will have no effect - truth will prevail...

If these Muslims spent half as much time creating infrastructures; education; health care and contributing to the international community instead of protesting over some slight and resorting to violence at every petty issue; the world would definitely have a different opinion of them. It must be terrible to be so insecure in your faith. The "gods" don't care anymore and if they do they just want to keep us divided for their own reaons. Grow up already and get a reality check. Time is short. There are so many intelligent people in the Muslim community and a mind is a terrible thing to waste. It's time for Islam to have a renaissance and an epiphany. Just remember the only people who are keeping this inflamed are the Elite's servants regarldess of whether they're political; religious or financial.
Better yet, why don't we take everything that is positive and proactive out of all the religions; formulate a golden rule for behavior and government and chuck the rest? Then there wouldn't be any reason for these dirty little wars that profit only those of the inner ruling 220 families.

These idiot al-qaeda terrorists all deserve execution; their mischief has caused me to permanently reject Islam as a prospective personal faith. NGM should publish the series or article and the movie should be published, and anyone who tries to interfere in a violent manner should be tried for treason, then hanged or shot on conviction. Al-qaeda must die.

I'm glad that they've beefed up security for National Geographic headquarters. I know the building well as my husband was an illustrator for them for many years. I think the fundamentalists need to simmer down and let free speech reign but maybe they don''t know what that is.

Michael Kirby, nice idea about formulating just one Golden Rule and getting rid of all separate religions. There's just one big problem with that - Islam is the only religion that does NOT teach the Golden Rule, except for fellow Muslims. Any nicer early teachings in the qur'an were abrogated (cancelled) by the much more violent and hateful verses after Mohammed became a warlord and bandit when he learned that was the only way he could get followers and power. "kill unbelievers wherever you find them" can't be combined with 'treat others as you would like to be treated'. Too bad.

Here are some very interesting facts, and remember that Muslims make up only 0.8% of the US population:

Duke University research reports during the ten years that followed 911 “Almost 200 Muslim-Americans have been involved in violent plots of terrorism over this decade, and more than 400 Muslim-Americans have been indicted or convicted for supporting terrorism.” See conclusion on page 8 of report ALSO SEE:

SUNNI MUSLIMS COMMITED 70% OF ALL TERRORIST ACTS IN THE WORLD IN 2011: according to a report by the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) And this doesn't include all the other Muslim sects that believe in every word Mohammed taught.

The more I hear about Islam the more I HATE it! Religion is so nice isn't it? Who in hell do they think they will convert with such behaviour? I'm not a hater by nature but I'm learning thanks to them.
