While thieving bankers and military-industrial complex executives feeding parasitically off the citizenry is bad enough, there's really nothing worse than some two-bit, war criminal, faux humanitarian leveraging death and destruction to make a fortune

Disgusting and wholly believable. Mr. Blair and most of the rest of the Labour Party (and most of the U.K., for that matter) is in the pockets of various Islamic interests. Hence the flooding of the U.K. with people from Islamic countries in order to keep those votes and money coming in to shore up the Labour Party make it one of the most corrupt parties in recent memory and is selling out the British people.

He ought to be ashamed, but I think that concept is alien. Very sad.

Thanks for posting, Evelyn.

Tony Blair Gets Paid (Again) – Secret $61,000 per Month Contract with Saudis Revealed

While thieving bankers and military-industrial complex executives feeding parasitically off the citizenry is bad enough, there’s really nothing worse than some two-bit, war criminal, faux humanitarian leveraging death and destruction to make a fortune after leaving “public service.” That in a nutshell is the resume of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Mr. Blair is no stranger to this site. Back in August, I highlighted another one of his philanthropic activities in the post, Letter Reveals Tony Blair Advised Kazakhstan’s President on How to Spin Massacre of Innocent, Unarmed Protesters. Here’s an excerpt:

Tony Blair gave Kazakhstan’s autocratic president advice on how to manage his image after the slaughter of unarmed civilians protesting against his regime.

In a letter to Nursultan Nazarbayev, obtained by The Telegraph, Mr Blair told the Kazakh president that the deaths of 14 protesters “tragic though they were, should not obscure the enormous progress” his country had made.

Mr Blair, who is paid millions of pounds a year to give advice to Mr Nazarbayev, goes on to suggest key passages to insert into a speech the president was giving at the University of Cambridge, to defend the action.

Mr Blair is paid through his private consultancy, Tony Blair Associates (TBA), which he set up after leaving Downing Street in 2007. TBA is understood to deploy a number of consultants in key ministries in Kazakhstan.

As any good businessman knows, it’s always best to hedge your bets and have as many income streams as possible. Which is why Tony Tony made sure to hedge his Kazakhstan bet with Saudi Arabia. The UK Telegraph reported that:

Tony Blair signed a secret contract with a Saudi oil company worth £41,000 a month and two per cent commission on any lucrative deals he helped secure, it has been claimed.

The former prime minister reportedly agreed to help PetroSaudi through his company Tony Blair Associates (TBA) in November 2010, according to documents obtained by the Sunday Times.

It is believed to be the first time a contract negotiated by Mr Blair since leaving office has been revealed. The work only lasted a few months.

Mr Blair, who holds the diplomatic role of Middle East Peace Envoy, has faced repeated criticism in the past over his high earnings since leaving Downing Street.

Middle East peace envoy! You can’t make this stuff up.

His decision to send British troops into Iraq alongside America in 2003 proved highly controversial, triggering ministerial resignations at the time and becoming a defining moment in his premiership.

Eh, what’s 59 beheadings and civil rights abuses between friends right?

I mean, let’s be honest, what’s the point of being Prime Minister if you can’t ring the register afterward?

In Liberty,
Michael Krieger

"Middle East peace envoy! You can’t make this stuff up." - Yep, very nicely said there!
I would love to also know how deep he got his hands and pockets into any possible deals with Israel, i would doubt NOTHING when it comes to this "Christian"money poodle. - eternal shame on him!

"Mr. Blair and most of the rest of the Labour Party (and most of the U.K., for that matter) is in the pockets of various Islamic interests."
This is an unfounded assertion.
Quite pathetic, to see someone try and put a racist spin on this..

Blair's profiteering from 'secret' contracts is in the public eye, as it should be.
Thanks, Evelyn.

Anthony Blair is a war criminal, and self-interested, opinionated, megalomaniac.

Tony Blair is some piece of work, only in for the money and for himself. Only a week ago an article was posted "Tony Blair enables Israeli raids in the West Bank", which made it very clear that Tony as a self-proclaimed "peace envoy" was letting himself be led anywhere money and media attention took him. In that particular article it was Israel. And because it concerned Israel interests quite a number of comments defended what he was "reporting" there.

The article posted by Evelyn (thank you, Evelyn) now reveals his contract with the Saudis, and Tony's now condemned for being in the pockets of various Islamic interests. I'm sure he he's doing both because, as said previously, the only interest that Tony has is foremost himself and how much money he can make. I have to admit he's good, though, conning the US, the EU, the Israeli and now the Saudis out of millions of dollars while serving no interest but his own.

Thanks, Evelyn, for posting yet another piece of the bigger picture of Monsieur BLiar. Didn't he convert a while ago to Catholicism?! It seems to me he needs to take some extra Bible lessons as this is not the way a good Catholic should behave ... LOL!

You're definitely right, Angelika, with respect to dealings with Israel; see also Lona's article. This guy is and has always been for sale to the highest bidder. He'd be willing to sell his own mother if he can make an extra buck. Not that he is unique in that but to think that he was once at the helm of a nation ... disgusting low life!

Eleonora, yes, I SW Lonas link and readit, that was AFTER my earlier comment and suspicion ^^
But, not sure if YOU are soo right- ;-) isn't that EXACTLY THE WAY many Catholics have indeed been behaving in the past!! (and present)

Hi Angelika - my "between the lines" reading ability is a bit impaired; I'm still fighting with this stupid bug I caught. Just to leave no room for misunderstandings: do you think it possible that being so stinking corrupt to the bone might be a pre-requisite to become Catholic ... before the time of Pope Francesco? There are good reasons why I instinctively mistrust anyone who carries his/her religion like a flag in front of him/her - so far I was never wrong!

As the saying goes: judge people by their actions and you'll never be fooled by their words!

Stay safe and hope you have recovered from the celebrations :-)!!
