Donald Trump implies that President Obama is a secret agent for ISIS, and Hillary Clinton pledges to use technology to fight the terrorist group if she's elected president.

Probably it's not on C2NN because you haven't posted it yet (maybe it hasn't exactly been a primary topic in his speeches? And/or it's hard to find something to post to show this?)

But this post is about a Daily Show presentation of two Presidential Candidates' statements on the Orlando shootings -

And trying to make it about Bernie is just OFF TOPIC. Probably because you didn't even watch the video.

Incidentally - not all drones are destructive. Drones can be used defensively. Drones have been used to collect information on how cattle are treated in massive dairy farms, and in areas where poachers are attacking wild life, to enable rapid response to prevent them from killing & carrying off their booty.

But that is unrelated to the topic of this thread.

HAD you watched the video, you would have realised the topic was a commentary on Clinton & Trump giving their official reaction/response to the Orlando events.

HAD you watched, you would have seen that Clinton took a very posed, balanced position (including mention of technology for terrorist watch), while Trump went all over the place.
Noah compares two speeches, and comments on them.

In the context of this video, Sanders' position is irrelevant, - hence "So what" The discussion had NOTHING to do with Sanders' opinion.

You have a bee in your bonnet, you make assumptions out of context - and you then dive in aggressively.

Incidentally, the same (error-triggering) assumptions come from you over and over again. On policy issues, you assume that if HC says something, Sanders must be opposed to it. However, in reality, Sanders has been pushing focus on policy issues, and HC has been forced to address those issues in order to reach people. Quite often, the resulting policy positions are quite close together (not all that surprising, as both are running for a Democrat nomination - and HC would not gain popularity by taking a GOP position in her campaign.)

BUT - this post is "The Daily Show" - on Clinton's & Trump's reactions. NOT on a Clinton-Sanders comparison at all. Watch it - you'll see.

Trolls get PAID BY THE POST, by the CORRUPT DNC..... that explains a LOT....
So they feel NO OBLIGATION to "stay on the subject".....
They can REPEAT THEMSELVES ENDLESSLY, and can have really short and meaningless posts, that they get paid for ANYway...

They are, of course, on LOTS of Venues besides Care2....
Hillary's campaign has been KNOWN to be spending A MILLION DOLLARS on Trolls to infest Social Media...
There are actually SEVERAL here on Care2.....
EASY to spot, of course! Their spew-for-pay DISCOUNTS anything they say, which is not rational or productive additions to discussion ANYway.....

Thanks for posting this video, Evelyn. Trevor Noah makes an excellent comparison between a calm yet compassionate, rational and factual Hillary Clinton and a irrational, hate mongering, clueless and "against everything, but having no solutions" Drumpf. She stuck to the facts, he went out of his way to go Republican and blame Obama for the attack by either being "weak and not smart" or being behind it all. Drumpf is so "not smart" that he doesn't even see that these two are mutually exclusive. Sadly his supporters won't see that either. Good job, Noah, you clearly showed that America is not safe in the hands of Republicans, but could be a much safer place in those of Democrats.

"The Daily Show" reaction comparison between Hillary and Donald is a display of one who allows emotion to flow freely and one who doesn't have much emotion to suppress. Hillary, in addition to being born into a political family and genetically being a "cool cucumber", is also inured to violence, due to repeated indirect participation in it---in the same way that war and bloodshed video game players become inured. They are not the attackers or the victims, so it is just a game of "I win, you lose".

Donald and Senator John McCain and quite a good-sized faction have been leaking for some time now, that they feel Obama is directly to blame for terrorist attacks--in many nations--because he refuses to take proper actions to quell it, and they don't feel he's been forceful enough with military attacks. I see the point of it actually causing more death and destruction, IF you are guilty of purposely delaying your victory.

In addition to being of opposite emotional make-up, Hillary and Donald have different levels of what to them is within the rules of fair play. Hillary is the original "all's fair in love and war" gal. Donald is more, "don't play cat and mouse---it makes the mouse suffer unnecessarily, costs many more lives, causes much more mass destruction, just get 'er done". That's how I see it. He has more empathy than she does---but --gee--Kissinger and Satan may have more empathy than she does.

Women born into politics and having any experience with having that sensation of power in calling the shots, as Hillary has, on whether or not to have a coup, a battle, assassination of activists, life or death---thumbs up or thumbs down--these women are usually cooler-headed then most men. I've seen this in other walks of life. Most progressively become colder and colder hearted. After all, think about the fact that they do not have to be in that position---the CHOSE to be in the position of power over life and death.

It takes a certain emotional make-up to be successful in law enforcement, the medical field, choose a career in the military, and high-ranking governmental positions, covert factions, The CIA, FBI. Donald is just learning that perhaps he should learn the wisdom of not giving himself the luxury of spitting out his unedited feeling on touchy topics. It is a bad lifelong habit of the privileged. Politics is different. You are expected to rein-in any overly-passionate, spur of the moment rantings. For a myriad of reasons, you have to learn how to do that. A businessman doesn't absolutely have to, but a politician does.

So, Hillary had a grand moment and took full advantage of proving what she's been saying for the past couple of weeks---that Donald doesn't have the required temperament for the presidential seat. His public displays do make one question whether he is indeed a ruse. That he never expected to last this long in the race. That he is now saying anything to try to get "freed". Who knows? Either way, he's still in it. One would think that, especially as he knew he'd be compared to Hillary when he made a public statement on the Orlando massacre, that he would have at the least, mimicked her aloofness, that some call composure. I don't call it composure when you don't have roiling emotions that require dampening. I don't call it calm compassion for the same reason.

Trevor Noah's video should be a warning to Americans and the world---Earth and all living are not in good hands now and these two candidates will only worsen the situation. Well--Hillary likes to "flip coins" to decide critical issues, like who gets this state. So, you can flip a coin or vote for Dr. Jill Stein. Hopefully Bernie will be an option or will have joined forced with Dr. Jill.

SHARED the video all over social media, Evelyn.

Brilliant comic Trevor Noah satirizing the BIGLY arrogance and ignorance of Trump, the Scottish baren bairn.

Hillary Clinton didn't escape his subtle wit. As if you would leave Clinton in charge of any technology that can be misused and abused.

Trevor "I never thought I'd see the day when Indians would be outsourcing their jobs to America."

Well guess we know what we are good for; just ask George Carlin

Wow, someone must be obsessive compulsive the video had no mention and wasn't about Bernie Sanders but the first words out of their mouth was Bernie Sanders. Maybe the videos should be "watched".

Why did you hijack this thread? This was showing Trump as a negative which is something you are so worried about, Trump getting elected, and it showed Hilliary in a good light.

Good going Nyack.

I appreciate some very valid comments addressing the Daily Show presentation - which I thought was well done. Thank you all who took time to watch & comment here!

As especial appreciation to Janice -great comment! ****************************
You removed a layer that I'd sensed but not put into words - "a display of one who allows emotion to flow freely and one who doesn't have much emotion to suppress. " Spot on!

I also liked "Hillary had a grand moment and took full advantage of proving what she's been saying for the past couple of weeks---that Donald doesn't have the required temperament for the presidential seat. His public displays do make one question whether he is indeed a ruse. That he never expected to last this long in the race. That he is now saying anything to try to get "freed". Who knows?"

If only you could be right for the DT! One possible face-saving exit would be to take offence at the Convention, and storm out in protest?

Thank you for posting this, Evelyn.... we all know you cannot get peace with violence - too bad those who make the decisions don't know that... oh, wait... Obama does. Which makes him prime fodder for idiots like Trump who never has a good word to say about anybody but himself.
