How do you pour a beer? Turns out this popular pouring method - that results in little to no foam - is completely wrong & can actually cause stomach issues! Max Bakker, Master Cicerone & High-End Educator at Anheuser-Busch InBev shows the correct way

I disagree. I have been pouring beer down the side of the glass to avoid getting a head on a glass of beer for over 50 years. I have never had a stomach ache or other problem from drinking it that way.

Why would anyone believe getting a less than full glass beer is unhealthy when it comes from brewer - their goal is to sell more beer!

I will have to try this. I LOVE beer and have at least one a day.

I don't drink, so I can't say. Otherwise it would be me talking "Fake News" like tRump speaks. Thanks Evelyn

Patrick - you only get less beer if you keep on pouring!!
And in most places, most bars/ pubs etc have a line on the glass that the LIQUID has to reach - they swipe off the head, you're not paying for that ... So your "beer-selling" logic might not be so solid as it appears.
Experience is a different matter - although if you've never done otherwise, you might not even notice! Or maybe you don't "nibble" while drinking beer? (It's the combination rather than just the beer, I think ...)

Anyway, when pouring from a bottle, stopping before foam-over - what does one have to lose by trying this?
