Check out this inspiring little 10 yr. old (Italian?) Greyhound pooch named Dominic. He's missing his TWO right legs and still is bouncing around and being a happy go lucky dog. As Oprah sums it up best - "Inspiring"

How does this dog keep his balance? Wow....The ability of an animal's brain to compensate...Amazing...but then,I imagine they must not even be aware they're missing appendages. My cat had to have a hind leg amputated when he was almost a year old due to being hit by a car and he is absolutely oblivious to the fact that it's gone. His vet called it a "phantom limb". When he wants to scratch himself on that side,it looks like he's having some sort of a fit.So funny. In his mind,it's still there...The sensation of having one doesn't leave them.

Absolutely inspiring!! I've heard of "phatom limb syndrome." My right arm flies up sometimes because of my cerebral palsy and it's very iritating (sp
?) but I can't imagine my life without it. Dominic is such a breath of sunshine. God love him. Thnx Chrissy!!

There are very few words that I can say to humans that can make us both happy. All I can say is simply I have seen our canine pals give their lives for humans who have abused them. My respect for all canines makes me humble when witnessing their absolute love for we humans. To tell you the truth, I have more respect for all animals than I have for ANY human. I am human -- so sue me. I truly hope that mankind will learn from our canine pals, before we kill ourselves. Frankly, I do not have much hope for that, my fellow human beings -- not much hope indeed. ~Peace~
