"Ms O'Donoghue, herself a member of the stolen generations, said Dr Nelson's comments were a pity because his speech had started off so well. While she acknowledged the problems in indigenous communities, today wasn't the day to talk about them. I think a lot of our men were unhappy about the matter raised there that were making them all out to be pedophiles and women bashers, that was the reason that he got the reaction he did." "

It is what I expect from a Liberal party member. After partying on all these years and having a WOW of a time they are now going to have to tighten their belts and knuckle down. Liberal's behaviour is still shameful and this apology was a backhanded slap in the face and a way of saying to the aboriginal people, you are still not worthy and we are still going to repress you given the chance. That behaviour is illegal these days in case MR. Nelson hasn't noticed. The whole party seems to be totally out of touch with reality.
