The organization finally saved Lakhi after 7 years and receiving a tip off that the ailing pachyderm was being forced to work at a film shoot. The court was notified about Lakhi's situation and ruled that she can permanently go to Wildlife SOS, Mathura

Wildlife SOS, Mathura in southern India IS A VERY GOOD NEW HOME :-))))

At this sanctuary, she will join the ranks of other rescued elephants such as Raju, Suzy and Asha. Together, this rag-tag herd is showing the world the true meaning of resilience.
