THIS IS DISGRACEFUL!!! A 7-year-old boy broke into a popular Outback zoo, fed a string of animals to the resident crocodile and bashed several lizards to death with a rock, the zoo's director said Friday. The 30-minute rampage, caught on the zoo's

Here in the States, parents are held liable when the child is a minor.
Not to mention those parents would be in jail here for child neglect.
He's 7 years old & a monster, just think about what a monster he'll be when he get bigger:(

A serial killer in the making...this child's home life needs to be investigated, as well as his psyche! The noted serial killer Michael Ross, from my home state of Connecticut, was one of several children born to a psychotic mother and an ineffectual father. He grew up on a chicken farm, and the only approbation he received as a child was when he successfully killed chickens for market. He grew up to become a serial rapist and killer of women who "heard voices". The only thing that calmed the voices, apparently, was to abduct, rape and kill women, clearly a replay of the approval he received from killing animals as a child.

My heart went out to these animals when I first heard about this. The little brat already has a black heart. I fear he will be a bigger threat to society when he grows up.

Simply....*tragic*....God Bless those poor animals.

Unless this youth receives immediate and stringent therapy, I fear this is only the beginning of his rein of terror...thank you Christine

This news article has me both angry and upset, at both the boy and his parents. The lack of emotion in the boy's blank face during his rampage is a sign that he probably is emotionally disturbed in some way, unable to feel empathy for the animals. Children like these grow up to become dangerous adults. I shudder at the thought! Thanks for sharing this story, Christine. Noted also.

That is one very disturbed little boy. I just can't believe his parents didn't notice he was missing. I think the child needs serious counselling, and his family life needs investigating now.

From the article:Neindorf said he plans to sue the boy's parents.
The boy's small size is probably the reason he didn't trip the zoo's security system, which relies on sensors to detect intruders, Neindorf said.
"I just want people to learn that they can't let their children go and run amok," Neindorf said. "If we can't put the blame onto the child, then someone has to accept the responsibility."

This child is a "Ted Bundy" in training.

PLLLEASE bring back spanking for selfish discusting Children!! Children need to have some sort of punishment, not just a Time Out. They need to learn respect. There is too much cruelty in this world and most of it is done by children because there is no consequences to their actions. Yeah, put them in a time out in their bedroom with TV, computer and video game player, YEAH that works! Come on People WAKE UP!

What the hell??? I am furious at this story!! Firstly how did this little monster get into the zoo in the first place, great security hey?! Secondly why was this child missing for half an hour and no one noticed? I agree with Lori, he should be fed to the crocodile.

Truly sad. I agree that discipline in the home is needed. However, the violence and rage this boy has within him originated from something going on in the home. The only reason we don't see more of this in the US is because of certain laws. But I guarantee that this behavior is rampant in America as well, it just comes out as abusive behavior, rape, murder, corruption in high government places and on and on.

Until love, discipline, responsibility, integrity and accountability is taught in all homes, we can expect to see more of the same. Our government, church, business and education leaders have failed us.

THE BOY DEFINATELY NEEDS TO BE TAKEN FROM HIS PARENTS AND PUT IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL SO THAT HE DOESNT GROW UP TO DO THIS NOT ONLY TO ANIMALS BUT TO PEOPLLE, AND THE PARENTS NEED TO BE PUT IN JAIL FOR LETTING HIM LOOSE WHEN THEY HAD TO KNOW HE WAS CAPABALE OF DOING SOMETHING LIKE THIS. THIS COULDN'T HAVE BEEN HIS FIRST TIME KILLING SOMETHING HE HAD NO REMORSE IN DOING SO. WHICH GOES TO SHOW IT HAD BECOME A FORM OF PLEASURE TO HIM.

the boy could have been eaten by the crockadile for all the attention he was getting from the parents. they need to take him to for analysis and try to find out if he was just a kid ignorant of death and cruelty or if he is the criminal minded on the way into society

wake up parents

watch your kids
raise your kids
act decent around your kids, teach them kindness. respect for life.
ridiculous how people let kids go to raise themselves, people are not born to do so. arhhh

When I heard this on the news, CNN I believe, I became sickened; then when they mentioned that his 14 year old brother had done a similar act last year, I became furious!! Who is raising these 2, Hitler?? The parents should absolutely have to make full monetary restitution, along with family counseling for years. I, too, agree with Ombretta; animal abusers become human abusers without a single thought. Angrily noted, Christine.
