Please stop the murder and captive trade in Taiji. Japan is regarded as a modern and well-respected country, but barbarism in the village of Taiji has become an alarming stain that has no honor. The needless death for dolphins, who are intelligent and compassionate animals, is regarded as an assault against life, and the health and conservation of the seas.

Just got off of Twitter! A large pod of dolphins is being herded into the Taiji, Japan killing cove as I type RIGHT NOW!

The link above takes you to a complete list of embassy email and phone contacts. Take two minutes immediately and let your embassy know that you demand they work with Japan to stop this insanity permanently! We need a solution! I provided a copy of the script below & most of the major embassies! The link has more!

LET'S FLOOD THE EMBASSIES OF THE WORLD WITH EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS! Friendly advice: the script is below. If you make it your own, its best. Also in the message box write something like "Attention Required" or "Action Needed." If they see "dolphin" or "Taiji" too many times they might try to block messages! "Ocean Conservation" is also good but it will tip them off after too many senders use it.

Embassies

URGENT CALL TO ACTION: (Takes less than one minute)

E-mail your ambassador the following message:

Subject: Ocean Conservation

Please stop the murder and captive trade in Taiji. Japan is regarded as a modern and well-respected country, but barbarism in the village of Taiji has become an alarming stain that has no honor. The needless death for dolphins, who are intelligent and compassionate animals, is regarded as an assault against life, and the health and conservation of the seas.

Starting with The Cove, the Internet and Social Media has created a deep awareness across the globe. There is a deepening appreciation for the sentience and wonder that these beautiful animals possess, their rich family and social life, the trusting and helpful interaction with humans, and their rightful place in the oceans. There is nothing that will hold back this exponentially growing movement.

From around the world, we work diligently against the taking of migrating dolphins that pass by Japan. They are not yours to take. They are not yours to kill. They are not yours to take captive. They are not yours to sell.

Whether it is mercury-laden meat from the slaughter of precious dolphins, or the condemnation of a miserable life in captivity, we will NEVER give up until this brutal practice ceases forever. We will not go away. We will never be silent.

The USA has hampered the efforts of Sea Shepherd, colluding with Japan to attempt to destroy that Ocean Protection Organisation's efforts to protect cetaceans from Japan's corrupt and cruel killing and capturing. The new administration of Australia may not be as good as the last, which finally acted with courage against Japanese whale killing.

Australians must speak forcibly to:
H.E. The Ambassador, Mr. Yoshitaka Akimoto, Embassy of Japan in Australia,
112 Empire Circuit,

Australia

emails to two cultural attache':
cultural@cb.mofa.go.jp;
economics@cb.mofa.go.jp

Forcibly.

I hope you ALL will add to the suggested text, with personal vigour, as, for instance, as I did :
"I have swam and dived in many oceans since childhood, and have met and interacted with these species of self-willed and social beings, and have been one who has spoken and acted for them for decades. I have studied them in sciences, and have advocated for their health and life. I will not stop, but will increase my advocacy for their protection, against ALL who participate in thoughtless, selfish, mercenary cruelty against them, no matter that it is government, corporation, or individual fisherman."
"We will not cease our continuing attempt to awaken the self-absorbed governments of the world including that of Japan, who corruptly supports the killing of the largest-brained animals on the earth, merely for consumption, and the FALSE tradition brought to Japan by US General MacArthur and such kind."

I'm sure that many of you have personal experience of some kind with these or other living individuals of other kinds, and will strengthen your commitment and use your experiences to define your values, acting against atrocity with all the power of your personal integrity.

I recently wrote to a christian who promoted killing:
Since when does your commandment "thou shalt not kill" have exceptions written in?

Emailed Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Mexican embassies. It is deplore what these savages are doing to these poor sentient, caring, intelligent and loving mammals! What we also need to do is block Japan's holding the 2020 Olympics! They may not "listen" to us animal lovers, but make the Japanese lose face by having the 2020 Olympics and the money from it would sure make them rethink the slaughter/murdering they are doing right now.
