Noted. Thank you for posting, Brenda. Shutting down puppy mills and increasing low-cost spay and neuter programs would go a long way in helping to reduce the number of animals euthanized by shelters each year.

Yes it would Marilyn--I have a pitt bull pup about 4 mo. old now was thrown out at my house during freezing cold an snow. She looked to be about 3/4 weeks old-she was tiny. I looked really hard to find out who threw her away and found there were 4/5 more her litter mates thrown out with her. Was just by accident I went outside for an UPS package or she would have died!

True, so fickin true. I just don't understand it. Why can't people take responsibility for the choices that they make. Why can't they take responsibility for their pets? Due to humans stupidity, ignorance, lack of accountability & responsibility......1000's of animals pay the price with their lives everyday. I say, put the irresponsible person in the cages and euthanize them and leave the animals alone.

I use to rescue several years ago but now I live in an assisted living facility where you are only allowed one pet and my little pup is a rescue dog who recently had to have her leg amputated due to the screw ups at the vet in fixing her patella problems. I moved heaven and earth to heve this surgery for her to give her a better quality of life and she is spayed and microchipped as well and has never missed a meal, clean bowl of water or any of her shots and I live on a very low disability check but my pup comes first before myself.

I live way out in country an they put trap on back side of my land. Many people hate us ARA's. Thanks to all for your love & compassion & BEING THEIR VOICE!!

There are really too many (stupid)people on this planet, probably more so than animals. Why is it humans care more about homeless people over homeless animals?

Too bad there's not a worldwide law that says only ONE child per family.
