The owner of these three beautiful dogs stood crying in front of their cages, apologizing to dogs that they were locked up and not at home safe with her. All three dogs were impounded at the HIGH KILL San Bernardino City Shelter due to an error by police

Signed and noted, thanks Susanne.

Although this is another disgusting abuse of power against dogs, they should be thankful that they have the opportunity to get these dogs back. Whether it be true or not, one of these dogs were accused of biting someone, as they all look very similar I have no doubt that they would all be blamed and under normal circumstances killed, irrelevant to whether the Police were at fault for letting them out.

Personally, if I got the chance of getting my beloved pets back, I would not argue, I would sell everything I owned, have the cash in my hands and be ready to sign them out on day 10 without question..... before they change their minds.

Is it fair? No, but unfortunately it is the world we live in and until we get enough support and get animals decent right, we have to all follow the rules.

I hope that I do not read in a few weeks time that they are lying to her and have no intention of giving Colleen her dogs back.

I think someone needs to get these lying, impulsive law enforcement officers off the force. Of course, they're never going to admit to a mistake, no matter what. They're all wusses when it comes to thinking they're going to get into trouble with their supervisors, but not when they pull a gun and shoot an animal or a person, or when they seize the animal without cause. It has gotten entirely out of hand, and now we have to be as afraid of the "officers" as we are the criminals. In fact, many of the "officers" ARE criminals. I think it is pretty bad that a lot of what we have enforcing the law are "dirty cops", who need to be taken out of law enforcement and ordered by the court not to brandish firearms, or as a matter of fact, not to even go near one or certainly not own one. I think that when they go seizing someone's animals for no reason whatsoever, and then lie about what they've done, it's time to fire their asses, as they have the "God Syndrome", and that jus doesn't work.

Police on an all out lying harmful power trip again! Everywhere you look these days, there it is. It's becoming a very sad scary theme.
