Diabolical but so true. The deceit is played out again and again. So heart breaking and sad because it has been verified by reliable sources that it is not only unnecessary but it is also unjustified. There are enough resources for all the people and creatures on the planet. People are now not only aware of the deceit but are also extremely tired of the present situation. Change is inevitable. How much longer will we be crushed by the mill of deceit? I think it might very well be END GAME for the dark agendas. People cannot go on as they were. That is out of the question.

This article is a lot of food for thought Michael but dreams are free. The reality is we can still achieve anything we want to here in North America if we try hard enough and are willing to risk it all. That's what a lot of these here miliionaires who put the corporations together did. It was our political arena that got greedy and takes the bribe to give them their way.

I agree as well there are people in the banking system who should be in jail for what has happened in America. But I have to ask - why have there been no charges laid by Holder under Obama's direction. SOMEONE should be jail for what happened and nothing. Nada ..... still huge bonuses about to be paid out and no action to stop any of it on Obama's part. Have to look at the whole thing.

I support anyone's right to protest but they CAMPED IN THE WRONG PLACE! They should be ouside of the White House, Holder's office, the senate and the congress. Do be aware however that congress has tried to look into some of this and has been blocked for the most part.

Cam, wouldn't doubt that Obama is in their back pocket some how or vice versa I should say. Going to read the article, but I am sure it will be more information that will piss me off and nothing gets done about it. Here's to real change and I hope Occupy is ONLY THE BEGINNING. Still going strong here in Richmond. God bless those people who are braving the weather, no matter what, to keep this thing real.

@Cam, this thought of, you have only made the American Dream, if you have made your first million, is the sign of a society on its way downward. Corporations use to have responsibilities many acted on. Now its profit at any cost to workers or Mother Earth. Bernie Sanders has stated that Wall Street is the most powerful Lobby in DC.-right up there with the Fed and AIPAC.

Actually Michael, which GOAL do Occupy Together have?

A protest movement needs a clear message!
The 1% vs the 99% is odd and so it always was.

Veterans, Social Insurance, Education, Speculations by banxters, Native Americans, War Policy, Military Industrial Complex, Corporations, Healthcare, ... you name it, government has - it!

As Cam said, if the governments would call a HALT, get rid of the Rotten Child Banking System, The Rockefeller-Wars, the InvadinbgOneCountryAfterTheOther Agenda, we would not have governments as our leaders, destroying everything for their insatiable greed.

Corporatism suck.
Governments back.

No wonder, the Occupy Movement was made by a Rotten Child agent: George Soros.

What we need is a REAL revolution from heart and brains of the WE - THE - PEOPLE!
A presented-to-us-one makes the 1% includng their financiers (0,1%) laugh only.

On September 17 the movenent started on WS.

Any changes so far?
Did something become any better?

Did the pensions raise or hmmm..... the income (?) ..... or were new taxes invented to bail out more of the starving banks?

Sorry Michael, my last should read:
"... The Rockefeller-Wars, the InvadingOneCountryAfterTheOther Agenda, we would not have CORPORATIONS as our leaders, destroying everything for their insatiable greed...."

We do not life in democracies, my dear friend.

The central power in a democracy is the ability to decide on laws and not just the elections, every some years.

Therefore, choosing representatives for making unsatisfactory laws for the citizen causes all the problems that we know.

I say the people are the real sovereign in a true democracy without a representative, and must themselves make the laws.

Politics is the executive body and then only needs to implement the will of the people.

We do not live in democracies.

It is easier to manipulate the 200, 500, 1,000 parliamentarians and to buy them, which have said NO to the interests of the population.

If the people are asked which suffer from the actions and pay the price, then certainly say something completely different.

No, they would say to any war, if you ask them directly.

We do not live in democracies.

Therefore, the representative democracy is just a show, one way pretend like the owners of power make us believe, we the citicen may decide that, while the make governments and parliamentarians make what they want.

This situation demands sound but peaceful revolution and can't be solved anymore without!!!

We do not live in democracies.

It wouldn't matter to me if it was the devil himself who started OWS. Its the anger inside of mankind that I have felt broiling for many moons now. We did not get in this mess overnight, and its inch by inch, mile after internet shortened mile that we head forward, to our dreams, which are reality inside of us all. Yes, lets unite against the Fed and Empire's Wars. Sound money is key for us being able to take care of ourselves. So is ending the wars and closing all over seas bases, but that isn't going to happen all at once. Its very much now, how it looked to me in 2007, that no matter who won, it was going to take the people united to demand what we wanted.

Micahel Dewey (1021)
Saturday November 5, 2011, 10:11 am
OWS is going to be what the people make it. I hope we can focus on things that will help all 7 Billion Humans, flying through space on Beautiful Mother Earth.

Since we need sound money, which we have never had, lets gt out of the Fed. The best way I've hard to do that, is to follow what North Dakota has been doing fine with for 90 years, with its State Bank. Other States are studying how to do it.

If we don't fix Healthcare, the price will double in 10 years, probably with less care. Vermont's and Montana's Single Payer could very well be worth other States checking out.

And need we mention that ending the wars is a must. Why the hell not close all over seas Military Bases, and put the Vets, and others to work rebuilding this Broken Promised Land?

But on other thing: Communities should study how to set up the Worker Ownership of the Mondragon Cooperative, of the Basque in Spain. There is an Evergreen Cooperative in Cleveland, and Richmond California, is putting people to work by starting smaller Cooperatives. Its a better way to work. Don't we all want that?

A government that does not back up "We the People" is not a Democratic society! Tyranny by corporations has invaded your own government that has been bought out! As long as this scandal remains & retains the power/control this is a continuous spiral downhill! (JUSTICE) has become "JUST US"! Thanks Michael.

At the end of this nightmare, there is a shining light at the end of the tunnel. Congress is scared and feel what were feeling through this recession. What bothers them is we know how to survive and be thankful for what we still have even though we have lost a lot. It's called Faith, not Greed for doing in your fellow Americans or other nations. We the 99% stand up for what is right as We The People. Huge Hug Michael my friend.

To delude ourselves in thinking we live in true democracies is a fallacy. In the Western World we have strayed far into a new form of oligarchy. Money talks and we must listen. It is a very sad state of affairs for the 99%.

As with all movements this too inspires a multitude of artistic expressions - I disagree that the movement has no direction - it is so revolutionary and expansive - it calls for a redesign of our "democracy" as we know it, and as it evolves hopefully it will;affect an economic ideology that will be world wide and more equitable - this is very encouraging! Thanks for the share Michael!

Good to see ya Michael S. Where have you been online? You were one of my first Care2 Friends. Care2 turned me onto Youtubebe, after having had a high powered, surround sound pc for a year and a half... of surfing through arlonet for arlonuts ,and some how coming across OEN, which published me right after joining care2. Since the Family Home has sold...I will give OEN a lifetime figure of 3-400 for the added benefits for that site is out of this world.

OWS to me, seems like each Community taking a stand on what they each have gotten robbed of, since the days of Ike. We need to rebuild this Country... as the older IBEW Wirenuts always told me, back in the 80s, while in my 20s living a damn good life...

I'm with Lee on this..its not a lack of direction, it's that there are so many things wrong in this country right now it has trickled down to every facet of our lives, so people bring those stories..and they are as different and varied as the people involved in OWL.
I hope this movement can stay, and form its own little democratic community with voting and elections, and transparency from the get go.
And hopefully the rest of the 99% will see that by not getting involved, they're living a real life version of "Surviver" and "Big Brother" without even knowing it, much less getting a chance to vote
Thanks Michael..i can't wait to see it either. Peace Out.

Cam, I like your new avatar/picture but handsome is as handsome does and I think you've missed a point here. Our political system has been usurped by Wall Street. They have bought off most of our representatives or twisted their arms in such a way that it results in votes in their favor. How can you not see, for instance, that behind the Republicans/Teas (and some Dems) refusing to tax the wealthy that Wall Street is behind that refusal ultimately. It's not just a coincidence that the wealthy are paying nothing and the elderly, poor, and even "middle class" are paying all the bills. Wars are being maintained in order for big corporations to make the profits they get from war activities. OWS is demonstrating the common person's understanding of what is going on and they're demonstrating just where they should be demonstrating. Demonstrating at the White House, Congress, the Fed, etc., is not a bad idea. But don't think for a minute that our Congress really has the power now. They've given it away to Wall Street in order to keep their places in the favor of the really powerful. Sad to hear; some won't believe it. But, fortunately, OWS knows what's going on. It's time everyone really listened and let go of their illusions that Geithner and company are really the devils...they only represent some of the evils in the system. Although I like President Obama as the person I think he really is, he has not made the separation from the powers that be that we were hoping he would. But don't for a minute think it's all his evil-doing. That's been in the works for a long time and gained lots of traction during the previous 8 years of hell foisted on Americans by GWB. If only everyone would be able to let down their guard and listen to the OWS protesters, we'd be able to overcome this horrible situation we're in. Information is out there and Michael has done his best to keep bringing it to us, too. Thanks, Michael. I'm looking forward to the movie, which sounds like a definitive treatment of what the hell is going on!

Dreaming of something does not make it come true. And protesting about something one never had (and therefore it is called a dream) doesn't do it either, unless the protesters would have been working continually on making this dream come true. But this is not what I see. The dreamers have been dreaming till they gave all their power away.

It is the nature of man to take as much as possible. Make a poor guy get rich and he will trample on the poor and abuse them by taking from them as much as he can. This is the system we all agreed to for centuries and it was ok for everybody as long as it allowed people a more or less decent life style.

Now that this system kicks people’s ass, they complain, but what is their argument? “Give us back what we gave you for centuries?” Does anyone know, with which kind of pressure and power people should do that?

Now, that it is useful for them, people pull out the dusty moral and love out of the dusty and long forgotten box from the cellar of history to impress those in charge and with power.
People let things just slide and now the stone is too heavy to roll it up the mountain again.

Teeparty, democrats party, gardenparty, etc., it does not matter. It is ths system you support and even soi you complain on what it brings to you.

Now it brings you a new econoy crisis. TV stations are telling us this all the time. Soon people will not have time and power to go on the streets anymore.
