The punishment does not fit the crime, never does when defenceless animals are concerned.Maximum fine, jail term and a ban from having animals for life should've been imposed. What goes around comes around !TY Lone.

Animal abusers walk free again with a slap on the wrist. Nothing changes! Thank you Terry for keeping us updated.

You cannot be serious, this is not justice and it does not discourage people from cruelty to animals. We need real punishment, jail term of at least 5 years and not allow to keep animals for life.

This sadist is not even human, it is a subspecies. The treatment she dealt those puppies should be done to her also. Have someone beat her with a sledgehammer-I will even volunteer-and give her as many blows as she did to those puppies, then fine her ans throw her in the prison system for several years.

I do not believe in violence, but in her case I will make the exception. Those puppies suffered for no reason other than her lack of humanity. If she didn't want them, turn them over to the local animal shelter, rescue group, humane society, put up a sign free puppies or go on freecycle.com online and offer them to the public. I see where people list free animals on freecycle.com all the time and almost all find homes. The person offering the animal or items selects through the responses they receive and decide where your animals or items go.

Wow. We still have a long way to go it seems with animal brutality. This would never happen if the puppies were human and the fact that she had the gall to actually use a sledgehammer. Just digusting. And no jail time. Sad.

By no means good enough!! A fine and probation? A big fat joke!!!!! Jail jail jail!!!! is what is needed!!!
When are these courts going to realize that jail is the ONLY WAY to decrease animal cruelty! The more these 'types' get away with their disgusting crimes, the more cruelty is going to happen! My God! It's not that difficult to understand!!!!!

This woman may have been freed by the courts but mentally she will be chained for life in her insanity to kill to unconditional babies that hardly had time to take a breathe of air. People like this is Dark Entities

Wow, that will teach her, won't it? I bet I say this everyday on here somewhere.....If the justice system would give these animal abusers a sentence and punishments worth knowing they did something wrong....it might make a difference. They repeat their crimes because they know the sentence is a joke and walk away laughing. This needs to be stopped...MAKE THEM PAY! Thanks for the update, Lone

What the .....? Somebody please tell me ... WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE COME FROM? This makes me so angry. And for all that all she gets is 5 years probabtion and a drop in the bucket fine? Oh hell no. This has got to stop. I truly do not believe in vigilantism but it is beginning to seem like that might be what it is going to take to get the justice departments across the US to understand how serious we all are about putting an end to animal abuse.

"put them down because they were not acting right"
how fortunate for her that our law won't allow the same treatment handed to her.
ty harold, my sentiments exactly, wonder how she also treats children?

Her punishement is not enough!!! She should do time in jail...those were lives she took....and in such a cruel way...so what if they were animals!!!!they were LIVES!!!! She looks mentally ill to me, if so she should not be out in the streets, she could do that to a child.

I agree with you Eyda, if she could do something so terrible to an innocent animal which is weaker than her, then she would have the same capacity to do such harm to a child. The law deciding this case is nothing but a joke...they allowed this woman to roam free and harm more living things in the future...since these were animals, it is not a big deal...but if these two victims were babies that she did that to, then she would be either put on deathrow or 2 lifetimes in prison without any right to have parole...If you live in the same state as this sick woman, have your senator, governor, legislator or state attorne revisit this case and take some responsibility and have that judge's position replaced by another judge who has pets and knows how precious their lives are...

The U.S. needs much stronger laws for animal abuse. These stories-- and they abound-- sicken my heart.
