The court confirmed an earlier judgment that Monsanto had falsely advertised its herbicide as "biodegradable" and claimed it "left the soil clean."

Monsanto is one of the World's worst companies, consistently in the top ten lists for many years. Their aim is to control the production of food. Read the article for yourself and don't forget to look into the links provided for additional information.

TY, Roseann.

I have a friend who raises cattle and used to give his castrated bulls growth hormones. One year he did not get to the castration and was horrified to see that although the cattle had grown big their testicles were as small as when they were calves. He told me that was the last time he gave any hormones or shots to any of his cattle that were not meant to heal if they were ill. And he encourages his children and grandchildren to get their meats from him, and not from the store.

He also surmised that those same hormones humans ingest cause sexual problems in men and women. Hence the big industry for drugs to aide already damaged humans.

This company needs a great deal more of control exercised upon it.It is well known for it's aggressive actions in trying to stifle debate regarding GM crops. These crops are a danger to wildlife and to human beings. They are banned in the EU and rightly so.

YAY, France!!! As for Monsanto, I say, "hang 'em high" - they've done enough damage on earth.

Monsanto is looking to control the world's food supply through unsustainable farming and the use of horribly toxic pesticides that they manufacture. The introduction of genetically modified seeds can harm the seeds that are not GM. The overall effect is to make crops that are only viable with the use of Monsanto's carcinogenic pesticides, also not sustainable. If we allow this to happen, the entire human race will suffer. Can we allow this to happen?

Not every country has an FDA type organization that polices what is sold to the public. It's nice to know France looked after it's consumers but it took an observant consumer or chemist to find this since this company appears big and the type to cover up what they don't want people to see or know.

Monsanto is a poster child for why we must end global corporate rule. The imperative of profit is incompatible with ecological sustainability and human survival.

Monsanto is a greedy, unethical company that unfortunately has many high-paid lobbyists and the ear of too many politicians.

India is trying to change its British-made Constitution in order to ban companies like Monsanto, which is responsible for hundreds of suicides of poor farmers who went broke and got sick from Monsanto seeds and chemicals. They Kill themselves by drinking the chemicals!!. There is a DVD out about Monsanto. It may be hard to watch, but I believe that it is extremely important to do so, for everyone in the world. This company's products and tactics are like a horror movie!!!

The Movie is The World According to Monsanto, a French production, available here in Canada, don't know about the US (they probably banned it or went to court to have it banned....)

The World According to Monsanto or the French Title: Le monde selon Monsanto. Made in 2008 as a TV Documentary Movie. :INK:

I looked up Blockbuster and NetFlix - neither one carries it. Googled it and found that the movie is on YouTube.
There are a few ways to watch the movies, in parts or in whole. Your choice. LINK:
