Edward Snowden is the greatest patriot whistleblower of our time, and he knows what I learned more than four decades ago: until the Espionage Act gets reformed, he can never come home safe and receive justice

I'll bet the young Kerry would not like who the old Kerry turned out to be. Such a 180

Kerry is a bag boy for the corporate oligarchy...whatever ideals he may have espoused in his youth, he has clearly sold them for thirty pieces of silver. He's pro-TPP, Pro-TTIP, Pro-KXL, and Pro-War. He will probably be the first one in line shouting for Snowden's head if Snowden ever lands on American soil.

Snowden, of course, is in the untenable position of having blown the whistle on one police state only to wind up stuck in another police state. As he has grown increasingly discontent with the domestic spying apparatus of Putin's Russia, he finds himself increasingly a man without a country. Nonetheless, the US government has much, much more to lose if Snowden ever looses the floodgates of data that he still possesses. They should let him go live a very quiet life in Ecuador if they know what is good for them.
