Humboldt County's marijuana boom is destroying a unique redwood forest ecosystem and killing some of California's rarest wildlife. Now veteran pot farmers are fighting the âEUR~green rushâEUR(TM) to make cannabis cultivation truly sustainable.

California might want a "Legal to use & grow your own", but not for world wide corporate trade. That is one beautiful piece of California that has been screwed with enough. Come on Gerry Brown - Nip this in the bud. : )

I'm all 4 pot but never at the expense of our superior ultra essential forests. The article is so long+didn't see a petition but will look 4 it tomorrow if it's there. thanks
